Hahaha! He did boot her off after she had the baby. When they got caught in a big storm, she let ice form for an hour WHILE all of the pots were on board BEFORE waking Sig, he had to hurry up and dump all the pots overboard to keep from capsizing..She's not as experienced, knowledgeable as she wants to think she is.

Teamwork makes the dream work. Pretty sure discovery is worst thing to happen to those boats. Made it a competition so less help from other fleets. Those guys have tough job and glad to see them help each other succeed!

Its weired when they work together they get a lot more crab, honest the teams should aim for one week each captain agrees to all work together on a patch of ground. And see if there a diffrence, to what a average week of been. Obviously if a decent say 10 percent yeald increase then they all go in as a team for future

Yes for quota. The amount changes based on what the Alaskan fishery people fine before the season. They spend the summer looking at how much crab of catching size they find

Valid question....but crab or no crab the pot has to be pulled and steamed to so fuel costs would be the same either way....but a cam could help maybe see the crab so you know where to re drop.

Theyre not saving this season, theyre saving next season, because I'd they don't catch their quota the government is shutting down the fishery because of low stocks to let them recover. Could be shut down for a year, could be shut down for 10 years.
