My grandfather and father were both Navy pilots and then commercial pilots and Dad would take me flying and assumed I would naturally become a flyer myself. But I don't enjoy flying at all it made me nervous the first time and it still does today. I . I know he was a bit disappointed when I told him but I knew by the time I was 10 years old that I wouldn't be carrying on the flying tradition in my family. I think it's cool when generations of a family are able to carry on a legacy . I wish I could have but I don't regret it. I say no thanks to the sky and the ocean and I will make my legacy on solid ground only

hehe, i puked my way thru my first 3 years as a fisherman on an old wooden 78 feet boat in the north sea outside northern norway! i later discoverd that i wasnt seasick, i puked even if the ocean was flat becouse of the smell in the boat. A mix of old rotten fish-diesel-and smoke from the old fishermen smoking cigarettes. in the 40 years later i havent puked 1 time on other boats i have worked on, exept 1 time we got a ghost net filled with rotten seals and fish.
