Great video! Did you have any trouble getting out of there? We are based just a little west of you and have a Cardinal RG. Been wanting to hit Trigger Gap but a little worried about taking off on the shorter grass runway.

@@flyingKush thanks for watching! We have been there a couple times now and we haven’t had any issues. Our home airport is 3000ft of grass like Trigger Gap so it’s pretty normal for us. I would recommend going on a day less windy than the one we chose. The gusty cross-winds make for exciting landings.

Just went for the fun of it since we were in the area already. There is a nice pavilion, bathroom, and opportunity for camping. It would be better in the fall for camping with cooler temperatures.
