For a long time I was skeptical about the claim the Octogator had eight toes on both of its front feet, because the left foot isn't visible in this clip and a mutation like that sounds pretty astronomical, but I just found a clip of someone else visiting the gator which shows both of its feet clearly, and to my amazement, it's true! It really does have eight toes on both of its front feet.
