Does this work with every glass cup? I want to make it but I’m not sure if I can just use any glass cup. What would you suggest?

Hi Jenny, heat resistant glassware will be better to put in oven. My glass cup can withstand constant temperatures of up to 120°C, that can work in water bath. Most of Pyrex glasses are oven safe. 😊

I am assuming these are heat-resistant glasses ( 10:18 ) which are safe to put in the oven, no? If so, where can I purchase these glasses? Can anybody suggest any particular brand (no, Pyrex / Corning do not carry them)? I've looked for said glasses and have not had much luck. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hello 37RR, they are safe for low temperature baking. We purchased it in Kyoto of Japan, but can't remember the brand's name, you can use a German brand -- Weck. 😊

Many thanks for the recipe ! We succeed !!! Want to learn more towards Caramel, it stick to our glass cups at the end ...(we can wash it but it's a pity we cannot eat all....) Is this normal or because I overcooked the caramel ? ;)

Hi Twoyvo, the sugar's melting point is 338F/170C, when the temperature reach about 338F/170C, the sugar becomes amber color, when see the color become medium amber color , you can turn off the heat immediately, becoz the pot still very hot, and the caramel will keep working, if you see the color become dark brown, it's too late. so at that moment, pour hot water into it carefully, then you will have a soft and sweet caramel. 😊

Hello there, be sure (1) to use 60C warm milk to mix with egg mixture, and (2) pour enough boiling-hot water into water bath pan to reach halfway up the sides of pudding dish. Bake until the pudding is set but still wobbly in center when gently shaken, you can also use a knife inserted in center if comes out clean, means the pudding is set. But if it's still runny like liquid, bake for more 10 minutes until set. 😊

Hello, if your pudding is still water, that means baking time is not enough. And the water you fill into the pan should be between 70C~80C and reaches halfway up the sides of the baking dish. By the way, how many puddings have you baked? If there are more puddings to be baked at one time, the baking time must be increased. 😊

@@SweetDumpling i put it back in the ovenn and increase baking time twice and its done perfectly. I have 4 big cups and my water aint reach half way of cups , i think may be this point that make my pudding still water at first try.
