Great session full of information, not like some on here, who are scared to say where they are. I used to love the Forshaw ,but i cant go there now due the port restrictions and my lack of mobility. well done Phil look forward to the next one.

We try to give as many tips as we can and we are all for helping other anglers get on the fish. Hopefully you can find some easier to access marks to catch a few yourself. Thanks for the comment Allen!

Newbie here, live in the Midlands so have to travel and rely on whatever info about where to fish that people are prepared to share. There's so much info in this vid I'll need to watch it again! Also love that you're not scared to show when things go wrong. So many lessons are learned from other people's mistakes... and nobody is perfect. One other comment here says something about port restrictions preventing fishing on the foreshore... do you know any more or is fishing allowed? Cheers and thanks again👍
@BanditFishingUK3 жыл бұрын
It’s nice to get some great feedback from you, the viewers. You are right, not every session is perfect. Everyone has the odd crack off, loses gear to snags and of course we all lose fish too. Access to the foreshore is allowed as long as you don’t climb up on to the dock property which is a fair way down. Obviously many still fish there and as long as they behave, clean up, don’t light fires, etc they get left in peace. We tend to fish the eastern end where this was recorded and you have the peace of mind that you won’t get approached by security. You can do an internet search of “Cardiff foreshore fishing marks”’where you will find someone who has kindly dropped pins on the popular areas with great info on each mark. Thanks for watching Steve

Nice session there mate. Want to try foreshore but don’t know where should I set up, don’t how close the tides will come in and big is the tides for safer fishing? Thanks
@BanditFishingUK3 жыл бұрын
www.google.com/mymaps/viewer?mid=1LMJGAL43yKsdCthvyU29r-YAYSI&hl=en_GB Follow that link to a map that someone kindly dropped a pin on every popular foreshore mark. Each pin shows a bit of info on the marks such as which size tide to fish each one. If you’ve got any more questions don’t be scared to ask.

What size do the Thornback's go to in the Bristol Channel? We get them to near 20lb at the top end here in west of Ireland
@BanditFishingUK2 жыл бұрын
A double figure is a good one from the shore here. They get the odd high double on the boats. 20lb is a big thornback!

fairly new to fishing, is it free to fish the foreshore?
@mwscuba Жыл бұрын
How do you access the foreshore ? Can you walk past the SIG building, I can see what looks like a path on Google maps. Thanks.
@BanditFishingUK Жыл бұрын
Yes that’s spot on Mark. Park away from any gates and don’t leave anything valuable in the car or at least not on show! Walk around the SIG factory and there’s only one path now. You’ll come out looking at the first mark called the “Gut”. Just keep walking right and you’ll see plenty of cracking marks. All the best
