Not an editing oversight, wasn't accounted for the whole game, and this means Carl dies at 19:59. Also it means Eilidh's should be on 11 less, as Gary wouldn't hit Carl.

Honestly a blast to watch. Love the way each archetype was played, especially green voltron and black discard showing off the soul of each colour's philosophy. Yeah ok Carl's sound was funky, but even with such effort put into the video making process slip ups happen. Fantastic video, always great to see the EDHijinks crew as guests!

Don't let anyone tell you that unpopular cards mean bad decks, that was a commander game under 30 minutes! That's how long it usually takes my game group to actually show up, decide on a deck and resolve the Mulligans! Very impressive!

Great concept for a pod/play session! Just gotta point out: Furnace of Rath doubles all sources of damage. Includes the 1 damage from crimes and the 2 damage from discarding. Not that it stayed in play long enough for it to make a big difference.

Furnace of wrath only doubles damage. Things like losing two life for discarding is loss of life and not damage :) The rules of magic make a distinction between the two

You might have a spell that does something based on the number of Forests you control (like the pump spell Carl played), and Yavimaya lets you have some other monocolor nonbasics (like Castle Garenbrig maybe) and still have them count as a Forest for spells like that. Since Yavimaya doesn't come into play tapped there is almost no drawback to running it.

You are correct! I am the one doing the sound checks and setting up the mics 😅 So unfortunately, I get to fix everyone's levels except for mine. I usually set mine at the same level every time but it did not work in this case :/ we did everything we could to fix it in post, but we couldn't fly them back to record so this is better than scraping the video.
