That is my reaction to some metal bees as well. They are one of my favorites. Also I love multiple outs. I like this smooth Acaan, the best part is how well it fits you.

Loved your thoughts my friend! The metal bees were a bit more difficult to handle, maybe I need to break them in? But they do look fantastic!

@@CardMechanic I have noticed a clunkiness to them. Not sure if it is the metallic ink. After handling all these cards for years now it definitely seems that the ink and stock and everything else makes every deck just slightly unique. I can't wait to see what 2022 brings to the community.

More than ten years ago my friend group and I would play a lot of card games and I wanted to set myself apart just by learning a nice little riffle shuffle. Fast forward this past week and I pulled out a deck of cards and started searching for simple little tricks just for fun and omw I have become obsessed with card magic. BUT I will only start performing for friends in a few months from now. I wanted to get my technique and variations down well enough that I can go into any new trick and truly start understanding the mechanics of the Craft. It becomes obsessive to the max 🤯

Berglas effect always stumped me. I love ACAAN and have a few methods I do myself-- But my second deal is nowhere near as good as your's!!-- so I really need to work on that-- Great effect you came up with-- very good thinking!!!

@@CardMechanic I think I'd get trashed if I posted a video!! I do a Saturday morning Magic video where I film a few effects for 6-10 minutes every weekend since I started magic/card sleight of hand 14 mos ago-- I email it out to around 20 friends, family, and clients of mine. As far as ACAAN, the easiest for me is off the bottom using The Glide move. Also have a method where I peel the cards off the top and then drop chosen card down and DL. Also love Mike Kirby's X-Act-- but that's using a gimmicked deck that only does one thing. I'm going to really practice my second deal. Spent past 6 weeks really working on my Classic Pass-- now I think I'll devote my practice time after work to 2nd deal!! Thanks!!!!!

Btw if u don't like the second deal u can also just control the selected card to the bottom and do just 1 bottom deal when u are at the location that the spectator named.

Daniel Madison got a ACAAN routine very simple. I like to use the Si Stebbins stack sometimes and calculate where is the card of the spectator.
@CardMechanic
@CardMechanic 3 жыл бұрын
It's funny that you said that, I'm actually working on coming up with a method for an ACAAN using a stack where the spectator selects any card and any number, I shuffle to make that work out and hand the deck to the spectator to deal. Still need to work out the details!

@@CardMechanic Amazing, the problem is put the card on spectator number and the spectator deal, but have a solution, one last configuration before give the deck to spectator or give multiple choices.

Hello Folks First Berglas is on film doing a version where he never touches the cards. That said there is an easy version of Berglas' ACCAAN. Invite. some folks to dinner but have some folks to lunch. Entertain the lunch folks with a few card tricks. Have them shuffle the deck think of a card remove it from the deck. Have them shuffle and square up the deck and get a peek at the bottom (key) card. Instruct the guest to place the. chosen card on top then cut the deck. Turn over cards when the key card shows say "Stop. There is a better way to find the card" Have another guest count off as many cards of a chosen number between 1-52 the deal is off the top so the chosen card is now at the chosen number. The cards are placed in the box and sealed. The magician knows neither the chosen card or number and never touched the cards. He promises to finish the reveal at dinner with his lunch guests present. With a bit of magician's patter to make the lunch guests look like random choices and a third truly random person to count out the cards dinner and lunch guests witness the Berglas effect none the wiser. Berglas was a Mentalist who're notorious for their preshow ingenious set ups. Just A. Day

Indeed the second deal requires some skill to do it with real confidence...I've seen someone else do it the same way. It is obviously not the Berglas Effect because the magician need to handle the cards instead of your audience...Great method...thank you for sharing it..
