More tips to sleep better: - Limit fluid intake a few hours before bedtime. To stay hydrated make sure to get enough throughout the day. - If you need to go to the bathroom at night, listen to that urge! Ignoring it will make it more difficult to get up later. Also, keep the lights low and don't bring your phone to the bathroom in the middle of the night. - When getting up, be sure to roll to your side, then push up with your hands, to avoid straining your back or ab muscles. In general, avoid sudden or straining movements as they would cause muscle cramps and interrupt my sleep more severely. - When shifting positions, open your legs to switch to your back, then straighten your lower leg to roll to the other side (whichever will be lower is straight). - In addition to sleeping with pillows between your knees and ankles, stagger your legs so you don't have too much pressure on one side (this was really helpful when I started to develop nerve pain in the groin when the baby descended).

I find it hard to breathe even sidelying. On my left while in third trimester, So I drape my right arm along the bolster that is supporting my back. This slight opening of upper body and support of right shoulder helps me breathe , and is not yet back lying

I have a lot of back legs shoulder pain etc..and not able to sleep properly, so I use the electric heating pad while sleeping....so will this have some negative effects??
@CareAboutLittleOnes5 ай бұрын
Hi there 😊, the findings of scientific studies are quite mixed when it comes to that. Therefore, we cannot really say for sure, if it could have a negative effect. Personally though, we WOULD stay away from an electric heating pad because of the magnetic field that it creates (given that it is plugged into a socket). (And also because it was shown that many people seem to be more sensible to electromagnetic fields than others...) We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

When the baby is facing ur back u can't feel any movement is that true.
@CareAboutLittleOnes Жыл бұрын
Hi there Diana 😊, no that's actually not true. We WANT the baby to face mommy's back because it's the best position for labor. But in that position you are still gonna feel your baby. If you don't feel your baby move, the first thing you should do is talk with your doctor... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Hy i want to ask you a question that i feel so much cramp on my legs and feet i feel wait and pressure on my feet thats common i think but can you guide me any tip due to which i can get a relief from this pain
@CareAboutLittleOnes Жыл бұрын
Hi there 😘, unfortunately, we know so many pregnant women with the same problem. In most cases, it comes from the additional weight from the pregnancy. It is a big burden for the body... That said, we still recommend talking with a doctor about it. In very very rare cases, it can be the result of more severe circulatory problems. So, it's always a good idea to talk to a doctor too... Still, as we said, in most cases, this is only the result of the pregnancy... In order to relieve the pain, exercising is the most important thing to do because it helps with the blood circulation. Moreover, you can try taking a bath with epsom salt... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

When should I worried about sleeping on my back
@CareAboutLittleOnes2 жыл бұрын
Hi there Mel 😊, in general, it is not recommended to sleep on your back when you are pregnant. That's because the weight of your baby will press on your vena cava which is involved in the oxygen supply to the baby. In other words, you might cut off the oxygen supply to your baby. So, if you want to sleep on your back, you should elevate your back so that there is an angle of some 45 degrees. In that case, the baby presses on longer on your veins... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

What is the position of placenta’posterior large’??
@CareAboutLittleOnes2 жыл бұрын
Hi there 😊, basically, a posterior placenta just means that the placenta has attached at the back of the uterus. Don't worry about it! It's totally normal. What the addition "large" means is something unfortunately we cannot tell you. If it refers to your placenta, it could mean that your placenta is enlarged. But in that case, your doctor would have talked about it. Did they not mention anything?
@stephaniem8278 Жыл бұрын
Placenta position will not affect your sleep. But from what I've heard having a posterior placenta is really good because your baby is more likely to be facing your back!

My baby kicks a lot at night and keeps me up at night. Any tips on that??
@CareAboutLittleOnes10 ай бұрын
Hi there 😊, unfortunately, there is nothing that you can do about that! 😊 The reason why this happens is that during the day, you are constantly on the move. This produces those nice rocking sensations for your baby. And babies like that - and then they fall asleep. But in the night, you just lie there, so no rocking sensations. And this is when babies get active! So, keep rocking! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
