I thought that Paul represented the fans. Starting off really shock the first episode same as the audience, then growing accustomed to Carl's actions. Then as the audience grew wanting more, their representation changed to the Paul mask demanding more and more no matter what. And at the end, the real Paul change to represent the idea of "llamas with hats," say that he was kicking a dead horse (or in this case, llama)

I watched the first 6 episodes of llamas with hats and thought that was it for a long time. But I just found the other 6 episodes today, and I am HEARTBROKEN I can never look at llamas with hats the same way again. I got REALLY sad when I saw Carl throw himself of a bridge because I felt like he was a distant friend for a long time. And btw this is the first youtube series that ended with a complete twist that I actually wasn't expecting, because I usually get nosy and check the comments before the video ends😕

I personally think the reason the quality of the ending song gets worse is because there's nothing to hold Carl back anymore. So everything just gets darker and darker. And at the end when the music's s done, it goes back to normal because there's nothing left in the world. Therefore nothing is going to get darker because there's nothing to make it.

I don't agree. His quality was fucking brilliant the whole way through and the story had an unusual but perfect ending. It brought so much emotion. The episodes didn't get worse with the fans asking for more. It just allowed it to continue until it was finally over. Fans can sometimes mess up the initial vision, but he didn't lose his here. His story advances and grows and then ends, and the ending, and closure we get from the ending stops most of us from pushing to do more. Just COMPLETE YOUR WORK CARLLLL. I think there are bad sides sure but fans are needed sometimes to make the creator finish their work

The writers of Doctor Who and Supernatural need to take a lesson from FilmCow. Sure, it might make sense in a way to listen to what your fans want and give it to them, but what your fans want isn't necessarily what is best for the show. With Supernatural, it was intended to end with season 4, but fans screamed for more. So they made more. And the following seasons, while still enjoyable and recognizable as Supernatural, were lower in quality. Now what season are they even on? 12? 13? By this point, they've pretty much run out of material, but the fans keep on mindlessly demanding more and more seasons. And the creators are even more stupid for listening to them. The show lost its soul and heart, and is now nothing more but an empty shell meant to appease a mindless fanbase that can't ever accept something they love die in peace rather than force it living on with horrid life support.

Supernatural was supposed to end with Season 5. Season 4 ended with Lucifer rising from his cage. It's on Season 12 now (with Season 13 confirmed), and while I think that the show's quality will never be as good as the Season 5 again, Season 11 and 12 have raised the standards from Seasons 6-10, which are hardly memorable at all, and the latest seasons are quite enjoyable to watch, to the point where I've gotten excited for the next episodes again. However, while I do agree that the show should end at some point, the ending should be fitting. Season 5, however, ended with Sam falling into Lucifer's Cage and Dean living a normal life, which does offer closure, but would probably upset a lot of people.

My guess is that with music starting from episode 7 and ending at episode 11-12 was to show how stressed filmcow was getting by the fans asking for more. I only think this because I know how stressful it can be for content creators to make more without being left alone and wanting to move onto something else. Of course, the Paul Mask is not actually an entity in reality. It is a sign that Carl's mental state is collapsing. This lead to a chain of events that was demanded from the hallucination that was the Paul Mask. The end was truly near. Carl went on a bloody rampage, killing anything in his sight, and creating satanic things that killed hundreds of thousands, if not millions. Then there was nothing left. The last hand had been eaten. The last corpse had been disemboweled. The last face had been made into an "art form". There was no meaning to Carl's life anymore. Yet the Paul Mask kept telling Carl that his work was not done. It was then that Carl realized that the Paul Mask was a fraud. It was not really Paul, only a twisted version of his friend's conciousness. So Carl set out to find Paul, the real one. When he came to Paul's apartment, he found skeletal remains of what used to be his best friend. And so there was no friend. There was no life. There was no meaning. There was nothing. Nothing. As a result, Carl was driven to the brink of insanity, with these thoughts rushing through his head. Why was he still here on this desolated planet, that HE had destroyed. It was all HIS fault. HE killed everyone. HE destroyed everything. HE was the reason that this happened. HE had killed his best friend. Here is my intake on Llamas with hats Carl is the actor/writer who doesn't know the limits. Paul was the one keeping him sane, so when he left, Carl became crazy. We are the mask, replacing what was once lost to Carl, but telling him to push the limits. The music descended as Carl became crazier and more depressed. He drowned himself to ask for Paul's forgiveness. The music became happy again because Paul forgave him. The songs pitch changed because as the series went on the episodes were more dark and creepy which resulted in the creators believe that the end credits should me more creepy and dark. At Least that's what I think

I thought that the music at the end of each episode was his sanity. It starts getting lower and in episode 11 the music was his insanity and that he couldn’t take it anymore. So once he had saw Paul died, he reached his breaking point and killed himself but at the end of episode 12 it went to normal, He ended it and he didn’t have to deal with it anymore sense he was gone.

Actually, the creator of this series wanted this series to end after episode 4. He made the other episodes after fan demand and made them purposefully represent a drop in quality that most series that go for far too long usually do. He's said this himself.

I think the story is that Carl was going through the 7 [I forgot the number I will keep it at 7] stages of grief he was about to go through acceptance but he went through it again then *OOF* himself

Funny thing is, I watched Llamas With Hats when there were just the first two. I can't remember how long ago it was but when I learned there was a third & a fourth, I was like whoa, there was more added? Cool. I watched them then figured the fourth was where everything was going to end & was fine with it. When I started this I was like wait, whoa, what? There's more? I went to see up to 12 episodes were out now & I was shocked. It's like, that many that quickly? Alright, lets watch them before completing the video. When it got later in the video mentioning the whole haven't seen above the 4th bit, I laughed. Man, I hope Charlie the Unicorn won't end up the same way with having to do more & more until there is nothing left.
