The blunder is Rxd7. I think black needs to play Qa3 rather than Qa5. Qa3 defends his bishop which means black can play Kc7 defending the c6 pawn without having to worry about his bishop. But good luck trying to see all that with seconds left.

No. Magnus calculated. Narayanan resigned since if he took the bishop with king, knight would fork king and queen on the next move.

​@@auttz6636Yeah, the rook sacrifice from Magnus is intentional. He calculated that the knight would attack the queen after the king takes the rook. And once the queen is moved to safety he would check the king on the next move, which he does.
