Mm no. Consider the kinds of events they get invited to though. Also what they spend on an outfit generally (or the cost of items they get for free) the $295 price tag for this dress isn't crazy. Also the entire reason for needing to change it in the first place... because a pandemic and the wedding having to be postponed 3 times--not Erin's fault. I wonder, too, if Erin and TJ lost money from all those setbacks. Certainly, some guests aren't able to make it, not least of which is Erin's grandmother who passed. In the scheme of things, I'd suck it up. I say that considering Carly's circumstances, not projecting my own financial situation (which is lower and I'd still make it work, but the gift might be less $$).
