They are just as greedy as my car insurance company, which tried to double my rate this year despite having no accidents or tickets, citing increased costs from other drivers. Instead of addressing the issue of bad drivers who drive up rates, they prefer to lose customers who don't cost them money. No wonder their costs are increasing.
@AC-os1he17 күн бұрын
But how do you address bad drivers? Have you ever tried to tell the general American public to make better decisions? It doesn't go well, Americans love the right to be stupid, just watch the video ppl but those cars. I get what you're saying but that's not the culture we have cultivated as a people.

Dealerships should be charged with mental abuse to customers. My triumph 2023 tiger 660 sport motorcycle is $269 and insurance is $53 full coverage. It'll cost at the end of it all less then 10k which im fine with. I would get a motorcycle for spring summer fall. Then lease a car in the winter when it snows. My mom bought me a 2006 chrysler sebring when I was in high school for under 10k. But then it gave me issues. I have my grand parents car and its a honda accord 2009 model. And I have other ways to get around too. These dealerships are out of control. I'm about fed up with planned obsolescense. I genuinely feel bad for the future. If this is the BS we are going to have to deal with. High grocery prices, inflated insurance rates, rent, bills. I'm legit over it all.

No haggle = over paying. I submit any dealership will make you the same offer. Pay the highest price and we won't argue with you.

Is CarMax in debt? Total debt on the balance sheet as of August 2024 : $19.20 Billion USD. According to CarMax 's latest financial reports the company's total debt is $19.20 Billion USD. A company's total debt is the sum of all current and non-current debts.😂😂😂

After the experience my daughter is going through with Carmax, I'm never going near them again here. She bought a car from them in August 2024. She's had problems since then. Now the transmission is gone. They refuse to do anything about it. In the past I've bought at least 3 cars from there. Now I'm through. Her experience has been a nightmare. Stuck with a car that's broke down, still making payments, still needs a car to get back and forth to work and no funds to buy another vehicle. I would tell anyone thinking of going there NO, DON'T GO THERE!

Similar problem here with a family member. Buying experience was good, but warranty support afterwards was practically nonexistent. We're never shopping at CarMax again, since they won't stand by their products.

As long as they will approve those with less than great credit, they are not done. When I tried to buy from them in 23 they where packed, and it was by appointment only. I was able to buy a new car instead of the 21 they tried to sell me for just a little more a month because of the low finance rate offered on a new car. The 21 they tried to sell me also felt like there was something wrong with it. It had less than 10k miles but already had two owners. It makes you wonder where they are getting their cars from.

They have so many recalls, on everything on it, especially the motors . Also, I guess that Thomas Sieber, goes to these lots when the are closed.
