The Closet Historian loves floof! I l binge watch her videos, but remember that's her full-time job, and she openly says things dont always come out to plan.Your top came out beautiful. Please continue posting sewing videos 😊

The effect of the collar band with the wrap neckline is very elegant. Much better than froof, I think. Also love how your wee dog always wants to be part of the reveal!

Thank you 😊 Yes, she's a natural born 'supermodel' 🤣 I think she thinks it some sort of game but hasn't quite figured out what it is yet!

I’ve looked at all your outfits so far and they are all amazing! You are quite a skilled seamstress. I’ve always liked making my own clothes because they are unique and no one has anything like them. Splendid job!

That turned out so lovely. And so happy you shared all your struggles along the way. You are such an inspiration. Also, Sew with Sally, has very good videos on pattern making and also on using your block to modify commercial patterns, fyi.

It looks wonderful! The simpler style definitely works. I particularly like the way your grown on sleeves don't gape, this has been a problem when I've made tops with grown on sleeves from commercial patterns... All your head scratching has paid off, it looks fabulous 👌

So impressed with not only your capsule collection, this top especially, but the honest. Informative way you put the video together. I felt your pain with some of the processes, being a sewer myself. New sub, impressive. Hope you enjoyed the wedding

Another lovely make. I am finding this series very inspirational. Love your sitting room also. 😊 PS: We used to call those collars Grandad or Mandarin/Mao collars. When was a student in Scotland you could find lots of those cotton men's shirts that were designed to be worn with added collars. They looked great with jeans. Now people mostly call them stand collars as the historic and cultural references are not as familiar to most people as they once were.
