It was nice seeing Supermang at the burnouts because it has a period-correct engine as its base and you had the proper axles on. Reminds me of the days at Summernats when real street machines were in the burnout comp and producing heaps of smoke required skill, not these unregisterable custom built things with supercharged LSes running on methanol, shortened axles and no rear brakes (OK, you did the latter). Stick to speed!

Is a shame to have damaged it, good that you're going to sort out the paint. It did sound amazing but not worth trashing a clean VN Berlina cos they're pretty rare now. Dedicated burnout car would be a cool project, would diversify the channel since they're pretty much all just drag cars atm

@@STREETMACHINETV Going to Wikipedia and searching for " List of dirt track ovals in Australia " brings up a pretty long list, using google maps and Maxx performance as a starting point, there are 3 or so tracks within a 2 hr drive. A tube frame car gives much more freedom when putting something together since you are not packing parts into a stock bodied car. While I'm not really interested in a burnout car, a quick and dirty one could be whipped up using the hemi you have sitting around. Even a sprint car chassis might be interesting. Also, I'm thinking that the pro cars have much weight on the front end for stability and the ability to whip the rear around.
