I hope the Monteverdi Hai SS is on here. Can’t go wrong with a mid engine sports car powered by a 426 HEMI.

4:03 Could this be one of the rare Lightweight E-Types?

There are several replicas around, but this one looks like the real thing. The video has its straight-six and V12 E-types all muddled in together.

The Mangusta was certainly one of the best looking mid engined road cars ever made it came with a cooking 225 bhp 302 engine in the US but a hipo 289 with 306 in Europe which was a 4.7 litre not 4.6. The performance figures and power outputs given are not all accurate the V12 E type had 272 bhp not 318 later V12's in the XJS with fuel injection and Michael May's Fireball heads had bigger power outputs and the 427 Cobra in standard form had 425 bhp and certainly wouldn't go near 186 mph. The 917 originally was 4.5 litres and then 4.9 litres power started at 580 and later to 620. Porsche had a naming rights was a dispute with Peugeot but with racing models Porsche continued using numbers with o in the middle such as the 906,908 and 909 Bergspyder. The picture of the Muira is actually the one off Jota and only the final SV Muira had 385 the first model had 350 and the S had 370.

To me red paint on any Lamborghini looks out of place. Is that having bad taste or am I right?
@jjharson7344

I kinda agree, Ferraris are red usually, Lambo's I associate with Dark Blue, (I saw a lovely metallic dark blue espada once, lovely looking car) but mainly Yellow or White. it must have been the models I had growing up as a kid in the 70's and eighties? plus the ones we saw on the road. I have seen a couple Contache's in red though! but given me a choice I'd have a red Ferrari and a yellow Lambo. :D

What’s a Cobra doing here?
@victorvance2573
@victorvance2573 3 жыл бұрын
I asked myself the same. Maybe because it is based on the AC Ace which is a British sports car making the Cobra a British/U.S. collaboration.

the black Lamborghini Countach could have been a Walter Wolf LP 500 or LP 5000 rather, at least the body widths show (both knew a top speed of well over 300 kmh) and the Shelby Cobra not European
