Great video on an excellent game! Really happy with my copy as well.

Miniature market’s supply is low. Decided to purchase a copy just this morning. Looking forward to playing. Thanks, Daniel

Such an astoundingly unique premise and look for this undead game. Daniel, thanks for playing through C.Z. and getting back to us with your thoughts. The many moving parts does look intimidating, but it's good to hear you didn't find learning too difficult. I'm going to strongly consider buying this game. Thanks, Daniel.

We played the first edition many times with our group, the more people the longer the game because of the decisions to make and you really need to work together to get the most out of each action. Great game

i wish they streamlined it a bit more, and had a better rulebook, but to be honest what I played I enjoyed a lot. I may implement some of the house rules(and my own) that I've seen on forums. I can't wait to get these minis painted

I have this game but never played... learning new games is becoming a bit "agonizing"... in terms of choices it remind me of Eldritch Horror OR This war of Mine in terms of stress.. thank you for this.. motivating to make me play haha

Totally Tabled has an excellent set of tutorial videos. Well worth watching.

I actually found this one pretty easy to learn.

I feel like this game has a Left4Dead feel because you have to make your way through the city as the environment changes (possibly having your route blocked) while killing zombies, with special zombies coming along now and again culminating in some showdown finale.
@TheDungeonDive2 жыл бұрын
Totally has that kind of tension.

He did not mention that the game also has decent miniatures for the PCs and bosses...

I believe he mentioned/showed the minis in a previous unboxing video of this game.

I’m pretty sure I mentioned that l would never use them in the unboxing video. The standees look so much better. Really poor use of plastic.
@Pardan2 жыл бұрын
@@TheDungeonDive I find them quite decent, actually, but the standees ARE really good
@TheDungeonDive2 жыл бұрын
@@Pardan They're perfectly fine quality, I just have an aversion to plastic, and prefer cardboard standees.

Do you have the retail or Deluxe Kickstarter edition? I was keen to pick this up but it seems like the retail edition has a fraction of the content :(
@TheDungeonDive Жыл бұрын
I don't have the deluxe. I have the normal KS version. Not sure what the difference is between that and the retail. I do know that my version has plenty of content, and don't miss the deluxe.
@robertdavey5582 Жыл бұрын
@@TheDungeonDive I picked up the retail edition and can confirm that it is full to the brim with content. Components are also excellent and I love the theme - not your usual zombie stuff. I agree that the rules are poor but there is a good FAQ/Wiki on BGG.

@@robertdavey5582Late response, but I'm glad you picked the game up. The additional content is nice, but the base game is COMPLETE. I feel like KS exclusives are a short term boon to increase backers, but Fear Of Missing Out is a long term price to play. I hope you've enjoyed the game!

Dexterity games, especially when the dexterity component is not made clear, are a real downside for me. I was never very dextrous and as a 65 year old arthritic I'm not better at it now. The only thing I can do with this is ignore it. I just place the cubes and ignore any that go wild. Maybe that makes the game easier, but also keeps me from throwing it in the garbage can and setting fire to it. Other than that, it's really 3 games smashed together. There is the night tower defense game, which is fine. Then there is the day travel game which is typically frustrating given that venice has 4 hour days (maybe it's on Mercury?). But you can live with that and the puzzle here is where to stop for the night and how much time to leave for actions (the answer is that there is never enough time for actions). The third game is whatever finale you play, which will have DIFFERENT rules than the rest of the game but which is just similar enough to confuse you (and the instructions will NOT answer your questions). With a better instruction manual this would be more acceptable, but my experience on the bridge was mostly confusing. I'm not giving up on the game, but it has some issues I think. Just playing the base game (it's not a campaign despite it's title) for three nights might be more fun, BUT then the game just tells you that you've lost (you MUST achieve the pre-requisites for one of the finales). It's definitely different from it's rivals (which presumably is Zombicide).
