What a lovely, intelligent and honest lady. Amazing how her father had enough faith in her to give £900 and it paid off. She’s an amazing songwriter - “China in your hand” is one example of her brilliant songwriting. I grew up on her music, in particular the “Rage” album. Wish her all the best. Carol is a person UK should feel proud about.

My first concert was Tpau 35 years ago, it was amazing and i still love them now, they wrote some amazing songs that never got the credit they deserved. Secret Garden, Sex Talk, Only The Lonely

Enjoyed the interview. I remember the 1980s as a time of great music and very colourful clothes. People actually knew and cared what was in the pop charts, and comedy seemed so exciting and subversive. T'Pau were great, part of the new CD age.

I'm a year older than Carol and from Manchester. In the military - back in the day - I used to run up the rock in Gibraltar, wearing a Sony Walkman listening to either Tpau or Belinda Carlisle. To this day I remember it more than the horrors I saw and still love Carol (and Belinda) even now.
