Carole King is one of my heroes - a genuinely nice person who is also gifted with a rare talent that we have been fortunate to enjoy for so many years. Her music belongs to the ages...and she is a precious American treasure. Great versions of these two Carole King authored hits!

i grew up in Manhatten Beach, a a few blocks from Sheepshead Bay, we would go shopping there all the time, never missing pizza at Delmar's! In fact we were neighbors w/ Neil Diamond, seriously, my family knew his very well, his mom would make me lunch sometimes when i was outside playing in front of our homes. we were 94 west end i think they were 2 over 86 west end. small world. where did Carol live? Neil Sadaka lived at the other end of west end (closer to the bay)he helped Neil D in the beg.

Far-fucking-out. A total out-of-left-field surprise. Carole rules, and I grew up five blocks from where she did in Sheepshead Bay! Read her bio, light and breezy and a quick insightful read into great woman.
