I took a trip to California recently and came across your book Sacred Contracts”. I was so pleased because I have been listening to your KZbin channel lately. I did my wheel and shape shifter stood out for me as one of my archetypes. I understood it as my ability to conform to my situation but coming back and listening to your commentary on how it’s a great trait for survival I’m seeing it in a more rounded way.

ThankYou Caroline . Being unwell changes one too . I have a spinal injury and have had to adapt to a body being restricted and to the emotional and spiritual need to heal myself . All suffering and unexpected change can often be the catalyst for the healer within to emerge . Blessings and Love❤

We are contributing - all the time with our thoughts, words and deeds - to shaping our reality. What do we, directly and indirectly impacted by disasters need to learn? The circumstances in which we find ourselves are an opportunity to demonstrate our resilience and love for one another and ability to shift. The great shift of consciousness that is happening now, with divine support, will demonstrate the amazing power we have as humans to overcome fear and replace it with love. ❤

This woman is so insightful, intelligent, articulate, creative. This series resonates so much with me, i am just consuming it!! I picked up one of her books over 10 years ago & i remember standing there being fascinated but i couldnt fully grasp it. Today, i have more experience/information, the times are changing quichly and obviously. I felt called to look her up again and im so glad I did. Im grateful for you and your teachings Carolyn, ty for sharing all you do with the world. What a light you are.

You're so wonderful with words and wisdom. Cataclysmic events are shapeshifters that are necessary. What happened in Turkey is so catastrophically difficult and heartbreaking, Caroline. The earth had to do it, but people's lives were taken straight to their next journey so quickly that their relatives will find it so hard to celebrate their lives simply because it happened in the blink of an eye. Namaste'.

Thank you so much Caroline. I don’t understand why more people don’t listen to you. The only reason I can think of is that not too many people are up to face the truth as you always fabulously tell it. I feel sad about it but none the less so appreciative and also feel feel lucky to have you on earth at this time. Your are a gem.

Hello Ms . Myss thank you for sharing this priceless jewel , the walking dead shapeshifter is also about social media people walking while on their phones falling into potholes walking across the street almost getting hit , interacting with family & friends not once fully engaging in the conversation. It’s truly easy to become unaware of the things & people & time around you , I AM truly Blessed to be able & willing to finally see & understand overstand & innerstand,because of your teachings I AM able .So much thanks and gratitude to you . Forever Thankful ❤

This was great. I hear about shapeshifting energies in the tarot community, and couldn't quite grasp the meaning but see the dark side the harm of that, projecting energies etc. I can understand how I can shapeshift in energy depending who or what I'm engaging with. Very interesting. "The more you understand about your inner power the more clarity you bring to even the smallest choices in your life." Thank you! 👏🏼🙏🏼

Thank you Caroline for sharing these wonderful videos. When we believe that the Universe is conspiring for our good, that everything taken away or given is out of Love, the terrifying images of the shapeshifter will transform into the beautiful chameleon. When fear is removed, each day will shift into the better. The river fearing the fall will transform into the majestic waterfall.

Very fascinating... It's tragic the history of Warsaw, yet, that research brought to light an aspect of how our human brain are masters at shape shifting for survival. And this info felt like an epiphany to me. Having grown up with violence and gross breaches of boundaries of a child, I had to shapeshift and minimize what was happening to me. It's only now, 9 years since the last time I was abused, am I beginning to grasp the severity of what had happened... Despite my therapist telling me so, my brain couldn't grasp it. It'd think, "oh at least it wasn't like this or that story"--just like how Jews responded to what happened in Warsaw. Fascinating! Thank you Caroline, glad to have found your channel. Your work is incredibly profound and influential for our timeline.

Thank you for sharing your insights.! Such a multi faceted archetype....I thought how the positive aspect of the shape shifter archetype could help to shatter calcified thought constructs and constricting identities. The idea of going into a changing room to try on a new perspective, can be very liberating. It doesn't mean you have to trash the old clothes either. I see them as remnants of a neverending story that hopefully someday may reflect a bit of an evolving process despite the many detours and dead ends along the way .

Very thankful for this series. It has been a few years since I read “Each Moment is the Universe: Zen and the Way of Being Time” by Dainin Katagiri. As I listened to your reflection, I found myself thinking about the possibility he offered that the Universe blinks (my word) in and out of existence constantly at such a rapid pace that we experience continuity. I had a brief conversation with cosmologist Brian Swimme about this and he didn’t challenge the possibility…

Again, it was amazing and eye-opening. There is so much going on in my head that I get a feeling that I can heal everything through understanding the archetypes and that I can understand everything through archetypes. Amazing and thank you. I think the shapeshifter shows us our ability to change things for the better, that we do matter, that we can take our role and part in the world and be a part of change. In politics, they use this a lot. Election day is all about voting me, and we create a better reality than the others. Another thing: we enjoy movies, concerts, theater etc. because there is a lot of change and shapeshifting happening, mood, content, atmosphere, meaning, what frightens us in reality becomes joy and entertainment in movies, we are safe to enjoy shapeshifting and maybe we realize, that we all have immens power to shapeshift. Wow. Yesterday, I watched the movie Triple Frontiers, Oscar Isaacs characterizes a protagonist who is frustrated about what he gets back for his services as a soldier. He brings some of his soldier friends together, convincing them to join his plan to rob money from a drug dealer. It's all about, we deserve that money, we have served the country, the flag, we get not enough money or reputation for it, they want to change their reality. Everything goes totally wrong, they become shapeshifters in a bad matter by interacting with the life of others. What I realized for myself: I do matter, even if there is an endless amount of art, books, movies etc., I can do my thing too and be an active part of the reality.

When you first mentioned this archetype, I thought, "Oh, that was me." I used to work for a university in an academic department that had more than 50 faculty members, each of them different, with different needs and demands. I was the Departmental Ass't and felt it was my job to be who these people needed me to be when they came to see me, so I certainly tried to be. It was sort of a bad habit, as in unsustainable, because I also tried to be whoever everyone else who came to see me with a problem needed me to be... students, staff, whomever. It was extremely stressful when 3 or 4 or more different people were in my office at the same time, because I was never sure who to be. It contributed to burn out, but still I can see it with some humour now, because when I went home at the end of the day, I could be me. In fact, even though I wound up a little traumatized and confused at the time, at least it wasn't an earthquake, it wasn't a war, it wasn't the holocaust, it was just an every day transformation from me to whomever someone else needed me to be at any given moment for any given crisis. I was nevertheless very glad to be out of there into a livelihood where I could just be me. Thanks for another interesting video.

Yes. This is helpful. I have just received notice that I must vacate my apt. that I've been in for 20 years due to damage from the recent storms. It's terrifying because my nervous system is in stress mode. I cannot think clearly. All of the projects that I have been working on have to readjusted and may disappear. The market is so different, there is so little available, everything is so expensive and my work tanked during the pandemic and has not recovered. Finding safety inside and out is now a redirected priority. My mind is in shock.

Good take on shapeshifters, Carolyn: ‘Some fundamental part of us is vulnerable and life is changing far too fast for emotions to catch up with and process.’ I’m thinking of trauma like losing a child or a losing my husband, and I’m curious…After the initial trauma and the grief process, then what? How can we shape shift into a fulfilling and happy life consciously?

As you describe the shapeshifter as not only an embodied creature but sudden events like earthquakes that shatter and shift the shape of people’s lives, it reminds me of the energy of the planet Uranus. The lightning bolt, sudden change, one day we’re like this, the next it’s changed forever. Like pre-Covid and now. Curious about if you correlate the shapeshifter with Uranus in Astrology?

Thoughts on people with BPD and the shapeshifter archetype?
@GoddessBlessYou
@GoddessBlessYou Жыл бұрын
If someone with a strong Shapeshifter archetype has developed BPD as a possible result, then the shapeshifting would be pathological, ungrounded and out of the control of the person. (I'm a depth psychologist who incorporates archetypes in my work.) However, one would also have to consider deeply the Child archetype, especially during manic phases. The Saboteur archetype could be showing its face during both manic and depressive phases. The Victim archetype could be alive and well if the person believes s/he is a helpless victim of chemistry. The Prostitute archetype could be revealing itself in the cost/benefit analysis--what are the benefits of having this disorder and what are the costs, and how much am I selling myself (mental, physical, financial, social, spiritual health) for the benefits that I receive from the disorder? And this would just be scratching the surface. Does that make sense?

Dear Caroline, I always had dreams of shapeshifting. Many forms inbetween some dragon type of lady.... i have asked people if they have dreams of this. And no. I havent come across anyone. Which led me on this whole search of trying to find pics online of something similar to what i am in my dreams.... especially after i saw a version of Pinocchio with this horned dragon lady. The closest thing i ever saw to what i become in my dreams....
