Siphon are better as they have more water so waste wont get stuck on the sides and they suck the waste down.

That depends, if it’s a glacier bay then it’s probably horrible, washdown toilets don’t really have any bowl rinse

I don't understand why the North American toilet plumbing has all those extra turns? I understand the first turn, which is to establish a water seal, but what's with the other turns? Why couldn't the waste go straight vertical downwards after the turn, like in the Caroma toilet?

the reason is that the bends create a siphon which sucks the waste down and into the drainl.

i like the washdown concept but shits will stick the walls. siphon, code complying when it comes to the water seal level, also it helps to prevent stains. but i dunno still the difference of their intestine. siphon has a lot of turns, while washdown is direct. if you can redesign siphon into like of washdown. hope its good. but it will make a trap with a higher depth

architectural ink blots the toliets are the worst in korea.I am from America and study in korea.Basiclly,whenever u need to poop,the toliet gets clogged.I go to other peoples house and all homes have a plunger.Koreans are not embarrassed about toliet clogs since it happenes all the time.Being a girl,i just couldnt take this.When i first used the toliet in my friends house,i tried not to let her know i took a crap and threw toliet paper into the bowl and clogged it up.It was so embarrassing but my friend wasnt supprised at all,and she helped me plunge down my poop.I really hope toliets can be better in korea.

Except the siphonic toilet has to have the S pipe otherwise it won’t siphon. The shape of the pipe is what makes it siphon

This toilet does not suck the big one _ I wish it did! Plus it splashes the water spray up towards the flusher! No thanks its going out in favor of the American standard siphon. What's more I've had it repaired twice in last year since I got it. Parts take forever to come in too. I'm flushing Caroma.
