I love your content guys on both of your channels, got me through some serious daily panic attacks ! I've been a fan for about a year and a huge fan of fishing in general ! I usually go with my dad or a bunch of friends and your content is so inspiring on so many levels - socializing, photography, nature, having fun and relaxing at the same time. I could only wish to have friends like you two, you are both great human beings and great fishermen. Thank you ! :)

Great to see you back on the river lads! I’m missing seeing you doing these and it would be great to see some Barbel, Perch, Bream, Roach, Tench etc and hopefully we’ll see some sea fishing for the Bass amongst other species…maybe even Tuna like the large one you lost last year, instead of the mainstream Carp fishing. Love the vids and looking forward to the future uploads. 👍

you guys are a breath of fresh air, I love the adventure you bring back to carp fishing. For what it's worth I think that the scaly carp looked like an escapee from somewhere when a flood occurred, who knows what size they will be in 10 years or so. The commons looked like 'natural' river carp, probably been in there for years. Amazing what is swimming in such tiny waters.
@fishingtutorials3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yeah it sure could be an escapee! Glad you enjoyed!

Thank you for this video, it's quite inspiring. I too want to (try to) catch wild carp in my local streams. I've done carp stalking only once, but I had 4 of them, perhaps I was just lucky, but this is me totally hooked!! In the rig you show, how long is the hooklink? Is the doubled hookbait floating or it lies on the bottom? And, last question sorry, once you have casted, is the mainline loose or tightened? That would be very useful!

No carp in the Cumbrian rivers sadly, very few species except trout and small amounts of salmon which is a shame. Looks great on the southern rivers.

Been trying for a few years to get a river carp and not even come close. Heard of different places to try as they 'have been caught' there before and no good. Half the banks are to high to fish or not accessible so end up fishing a lot of the same spots. Also doesn't help a different club own different stretches meaning its cost so much money to try new spots.
