Great video. Thank you guys:-). One little thing - please use the plastic brackets to hold the M8 charging cable in place on the holder to avoid twisting the connector around in case it gets caught e.g. in the bushes (the brackets come standard with every holder).

Thank you for this great video! Suggestion: Change map type to Topographic if you have not yet. Also the Controller app allows you to tune the joystick sensibility on all directions which might be important during offroad rides.

You have installed the controller.. but the thing is am wondering is, isnt there a posibility to use the bmw controller on the tablet ? Espacialy the way you installed the tablet. You directly wired it to the harnas.

It seems that very soon it will be. Somebody told me in the comments section that soon there will be an integration of the bmw wheel with the dmd2 app

Another option for internet, becauwe itnis simply an android tablet, is to setup a wifi hotspot on your phone and thrn connect ("tether") the tablet to the phone. You can leave your phone in your pocket or charging in a bag etc

Hi, thanks for the video! Can you give me some feedback on the Adventure Controller? How is it Offroad? @Nomad Sweden didn't recommend it for offroad, but from this video I realized it was an older version he talked about. How does the gen 2 Adventure controller work offroad?

Hello, thank you for watching. The adventure controller is great but to be completly honest I never used it offroad. How could I ? You are concentrated to keep your ballance to fight difficult terrain, how could you take your eyes of the track to operate the controller and tablet ? I think nobody can do that. But, when you stop, and you want to see somenthing on the map or on the track, then the controlller is awsome ? I hope this helps

@@DragosRDS thanks for the reply. Since then I have purchased the adv controller, and used it on a 160 km offroad race, had to follow track and touch points on the map. The adv controller was great to zoom in and out easily during the ride, also pan a bit around where the route went, where were the next mark to go through... So, actually, I could use the adv controller while goong offroad, standing on the bike.
