Removing distractions is so important. I scroll on my phone too much. I stopped watching TV a while ok and it helps a lot.

Letting go of the fear of what other people might think is huge, and something I’m working through right now. I’m still very reserved about sharing my videos though, spending days editing and then whispering as quietly as possible that it’s published, 😂 It’s especially hard with people I know in “real life”.. it’s somehow easier to share to a bunch of random strangers on the internet!

Can totally relate to your Virgo sign. As a Capricorn I am also an earth sign. We are empathetic to the people around us. Sometimes it can be very draining so setting boundaries is necessary to protect our own sanity lol. I created this acronym/picture word/thingy to remember the 12 signs/elements EARTH = TVC = Taurus. Virgo. Capricorn. = The Vege Crop (things that grow out of the earth lol) AIR = GLA = Gemini. Libra. Aquarius. = Gentle Light Air FIRE = ALS = Aries. Leo. Sagittarius. = A Lit Stick WATER = SCP = Scorpio. Cancer. Pisces. = Seas Calm and Placid

Felt what you said about boundaries with toxic people really deeply. This is something I've been battling with a lot lately. My inbox is also out of control, it gives me anxiety looking at it sometimes 😬

I used to teach for VIPkid a few years ago. Great experience.... however some prep before IS required so you know what you are teaching and have the necessary props to engage the student or explain a concept further. The parents rate you on how the class goes and may even watch you teach! You also are required to write a short summary of how the class went and how the student performed (for every class or you don't get paid). Great extra source of income but keep in mind the hours between China and North America are roughly 12 hours different so that means late nights and very early mornings. Also, make sure to save some of this extra income to pay taxes!! For Canadians, you have to figure out how to cheaply transfer USD funds as they pay in USD!

I grew up as I always have to read the room, and for me, it is very difficult not to manage the people. But I will try to control it and want to have more freedom. Thank you for great advice!

I can relate. I got rid of my television 5 months ago when i moved into my apartment. I consume so much less screens now and am more productive! love the freedom habits! Mine need some work.

1. Remove distractions. 2. Remove debt. 3. Get rid of things you don't need. 4. Set boundaries for toxic people. 5. Stop managing everyone else. 6. Try something new every week. 7. Clear your inbox. 8. Get rid of commitments that feel like obligations. 9. Stop worrying about what other people think of your choice. 10. Allow yourself to be vulnerable.

Oh wow, the managing people, I do this. I don't know that I fully realized it until now, but I read a room and pick up on energies as well and then that makes me go in my head. I need to let this go as well as it weighs heavy on me.

I don’t watch much television at all. I chose not to have a tv in my room because of the distractions. That time is personal to me 💜 I want to remove all the clutter in my personal space

Seeing some family members feels like an obligation 😓 how do I even say no
@Megan7088-63 жыл бұрын
It's not easy the first time to say no, my tip for you, don't make snap decisions, let them know you'll get back to them on that and if you decide no then tell them "no thanks" if you have a fams like mine they'll wanna know "why" and that's where Carrie's tip may help "who cares what people think" or "get rid of obligations"
