at 14.40 u say the wheel will b out hear? are u only tight the axle nut against the locking collar on the other side of wheel or did you find some spacer to fill gap between the 3/4 cut down to the 1 inch axle shaft i fear the wheels may come loose some day if you are only trusting the locking ring.
@timquigg68356 жыл бұрын
maybe the locking ring is 3/4 and hooks on the edge of the 1 inch then i could see this being able to tighten the axle nut

@tractorguysgarage70578 жыл бұрын

@5353iceman8 жыл бұрын
One wheel drive wastes energy and eats your tire up.
@nathanantilla57138 жыл бұрын
They both have the same top speed, but the live axle can get up to that speed quicker because it has twice as many wheels being driven, giving it twice as much traction, allowing it to pull twice as hard before it starts spinning tires.

Thank-you for this video! It is something I have always dreamed of doing, but have never done. I am curious: Would it have been possible to center the engine in the middle, for better side-to-side weight distribution? I would really love to see this done using a dirt bike engine. For me, the most interesting part of that would be seeing how you would engineer the the gear shift linkage for the manual transmission.

Yes, you can put the engine in the center, you'll just center up the sprocket along the axle.
