Do you treat snapping triceps syndrome, it's not on the website?
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy7 жыл бұрын
Hi John, Thanks for the question. Yes, "snapping" syndromes are due to ligament or tendon laxity/injury. It creates an unstable base for the muscles to contract against and lead to snapping or popping. It can become a vicious cycle of pain and joint instability. Usually, this involves treating the shoulder, but may involve other areas like the elbow, for instance. We would be happy to learn more about your case and see you for a consultation and exam to help better identify the problem and understand what your goals are for returning to sports or other activities and figure out the best treatment options to get you on your way to those goals. Hope to help you soon. Take care for now.

Hi gg wp, Thank you for your question. The muscles need to contract against a stable base, so yes, it can cause pain or other problems with strength or muscle spasms. We help a lot of patients with hypermobility stay active in sports by strengthening the ligaments so the joints are more stable during sports. There is more information about hypermobility syndromes on our website and research. Hope it helps. Take care for now.

What about let's say a nerve is causing numbness/ burning. Do you know how to treat it? I've had ultrasounds in Alabama and they came up negative for entrapment maybe irritation or inflammation? The nerve probably isn't damaged because i have no claw hand or anything

Yes, there are a variety of regenerative techniques that can be used with nerve involvement that is causing numbness and burning. It is individualized for each patient's condition. Nerve irritation also has its roots in joint instability, as the bones of the joint move too much, they irritate nerves. Burning/numbness is a common feature. This is something we help every day.
