@@CouldUseARide I didn't notice but the volvo s60 was basically was using it's engine instead of the battery sense it was almost fully depleted, which tbh is fair cause the weight difference from the T6 and T8 as if the battery was fully charged it would be a lot faster, btw the european market gets the mild hybrid on all of there engines in 2022 and up.

The m340i is a really incredible car. Its power is also understated. I believe BMW has it listed as low 4s 0-60, but it has been tested as fast as 3.8 secs... and it's not even the full M model.

ZQ DDD be careful got a m340i late November car was bricked before I could even drive out the showroom, software had to be wiped and reinstalled to remove drivetrain fault code, funny thing was there was an over the air software update as I was setting up the car before it bricked, hence recall could be pushed on to you remotely

common fact grats on the new toy, yea they do have some over the air upgrade but my software version is still on March 2019 which they deliver those cars with more than 390hp in us and Canada. So far we had three recalls two related to the software updated(emission recall which will lower the hp to 382hp as states on the website and the back up camera lighting issue) and they could only done by dealer’s computer and I have refused to do it cuz I don’t wanna lose that small 8hp lol. third one is the second battery issue which has been fixed during my first service.

That B58 engine is absolutely incredible. Easily destroyed the competition. I raced a Volvo V60 T8 Polestar against my X3 M40i (B58) a couple weeks ago and it wasn’t even close - I won by several car lengths. He must have believed in the hype. But I will say Volvo did an awesome job on the overall design. That V60 is a really sharp looking vehicle 👍🏻

The B58 motor is a little gem. The internals are strong and can handle a good tune without issue, it sounds fantastic and is smooth as silk. In the German car world the 3 Series, as ordinary as it can look, is one of the best compact premium vehicles out there. Solid package from the factory.

I absolutely love my Sunset Orange M340i, it's an absolute beast and it doubles nicely as a family saloon when it needs to. My mate has a Merc C43 (2020 MY) and he's yet to beat me in our little drag races. Even when I hop in his the M340i takes it. Now, his brother's CLA45S+... That's another story. I4 2.0 and it matches my 340 pace for pace (even though it has 420HP as it's like the gearbox doesn't utilise it well). The B58D and the ZF8 gearbox really is a match made in heaven.
