The cases you cover are often difficult to listen to and I am guessing that is why such a well researched presentation has so few views . You are always genuinely respectful to the victims and do not sensationalize what is after all the worst thing that ever happened to their families

How utterly sad … one man’s sickness caused so much heartache. Good onya to the investigators and police work bringing long overdue justice.

I wonder if defence lawyers make themselves sick with the shite they offer up in court in an attempt to excuse their client's actions.

So very sad and awful. Seems that Hazel came out smelling like a rose. RIP Karlie & Khandalyce and Grandmother Colleen who never saw her girls again.

Hazel knew that that pervert had a great interest in raping children but stuck around. Hazel stinks alright but not of roses. Ugh.

Its sickening how Passmore deluded herself and profitted. In my opinion if she had any decency in her she should have exposed the crimes she knew about. Holden should have been given hard labour. Its a pity the death sentence is no longer part of Australian law.May Holden never be releasd.

I personally think that defendants shouldn't be allowed to use the reason of having had a "shitty upbringing" as a defense. I know a fair few people who had awful childhoods and they haven't hurt anyone, and some of them have had to fight bloody hard to escape bad situations and build better lives

I don't want to blame them, but do not understand why Karlie's cousins gave Kandalyce to aman she was already suspicious of. Without phoning anyone first. And him with a scratch on his face and a flimsy story about Karlie. This man, in spite of being very ugly must have had quite some charisma. In Hazel's shoes, I would have hated him for the crash, and his irresponsibility, but instead, she hated Karlie. Somehow intriguing, but I don't want to spoil more time finding out additional detaills about such an asshole.

Hazel should have faced prison time. Why do women often get away with their crimes whilst men generally get punished, even when they might be accomplices. Hazel was a willing accomplice in the fraud, and she had been told by Holden that he had killed the mother and child. Awful woman! Evil man!

Huh? Hazel got a plea deal for being an informant. People get away with things because of plea deals all the time. You can see it in so many other Casefile videos. It has nothing do with gender...

I’m a single mother and was very very careful about who I let into my life when my kids were little. It’s one thing to be dumb and put yourself in danger with these trashy, questionable men. But when you have kids and bring those men around them, shame on you. I am seeing so many of these stories on here where the kids get killed because of mom’s poor choices in men.
