Hi Casey, I've been watching many of your videos over just the last month, or so, and wanted to say thank you! I went from zero editing experience to editing, and adding fusion compositions. Basic stuff, but man, the first time I masked an image to isolate a portion of it, ran it through a transform, and then used another mask on the merge, to make the image pop out from behind a mountain... It just felt great. Please keep up your great work. Enjoying the podcast as well!

Fusion was something I was avoiding using if I could, but this made it all so clear and a less frightening tab to visit. Plus the show I was just one wanted something interesting doing with an archive photo of a steamer boat. The steam from the coffee cup skill when straight to making smoke come out of the boats funnels. Client loved it! Fantastic range of tutorials that have been my most shared with fellow editors as my top pick. Thank you!

there are tutorials that dilute information, others that concentrate it by skipping steps, taking essential elements for granted. Yours is the perfect balance. You put yourself in the shoes of the listener and not only make complex content simple, but also expose it in an interesting and engaging way. The other tutorials just explain how to do it, while yours give us models to reason on our own. Best teacher ever. Thank you !! PS It would be great if you also studied other subjects such as physics ... : P

This is EXACTLY the video I was looking for and needed. I've seen a lot of other tutorials on how to make effect "X" happen, but when they jump into this page/tab, I'm always at a loss as to just what the hell it is and what the hell everything they're showing me means!
