I hope you guys enjoy your trip! The great thing about kids is it is the memories they cherish, they won't remember not having money for the little things! Groceries at home can still be fun! I like getting special snacks/ drinks/ Popsicles, etc for things like that. Prayer request is for my friend and everyone affected by the tragic loss of her friend. Also, for my brother who is in prison and everyone affected by his actions. Thank you 💕

The girls only spent 15 minutes on the beach when we got here at 9PM but they are already beaming from ear to ear with pockets bursting with shells. I’m reading your comment right before bed so both your brother and your friend are opening my prayer time tonight. It sounds like these are weighing heavily on you as well so I’m praying for you too! @@LininUpDucks Thank you, I'm grateful! The crime we see in Albuquerque, and in these times is awful. But I know that God is still good and he allows it for a reason. That is so sweet to hear about your girls. Seashells make amazing souvenirs. When my uncle and aunt took me to Disneyland for a day I brought home my most special souvenirs: a Disney napkin, a leaf from Disneyland, and a color changing straw I got at a restaurant. I still have them and have shown them to my kids. It was a very modest trip and I had a blast. I hope you get some rest during your trip too! Praying that you see all the blessings around you 💕 and that God lifts your eyes to Him everytime you feel down. You're not alone.

Years ago when my boys were elementary aged my parents purchased a condo at a beach. It was about a 5 hour drive from our home. We would pack as much food and snacks as we could fit into my small car with us and our clothing. Each time we arrived I would search high and low for fun, free things to do. Of course the beach itself was always first! I made a daily schedule that would include swimming, sand castle building, a lunch picnic at a local park and then a free activity. I saved my money on hand for a nice meal out and a round of miniature golf. We could always stay under $100.00 if I stuck to it- not counting our gas of course!

Congratulations on being a first time mom! The thing I think he will learn fastest is that all moms are still learning, every new stage is new no matter if you have one child or four. Every one of my children is so very different and hits each stage so differently. Let me know what kind of advice you were looking for and I will see if I can put together something for you or if I know of a video from another KZbin or that is right on point I will send you over to their channel.
