I’m so happy you came up in my feed a while ago. Recently lost my husband of 40 years and he has had a feeding tube the last three years so I really didn’t cook anymore because it was just me. @@morgancalvi6675 And then it sat hot for several minutes, and then it got added back to the pan and cooked with the sauce and veg. I just made this tonight exactly the same way...the chicken is not raw. If you cooked it through at the start it'd be overcooked by the time the dish was complete.

Great recipe Chef JP! My version had chicken thighs, broccoli, yellow pepper, and carrots. I substituted hoisin sauce (oyster sauce), sake wine (mirin) and tapioca starch (slurry). Mise en place is essential for this wonderful recipe. Tasted delicious. Next time, I won't skimp on sauce. You are correct it's a flavour builder. I finished dish ~ sesame oil. You're a JOY to watch.
