You don’t need to enter passcode every time. Just change it to use fingerprint. It’s easy and more fast to pay.

The real CASHLESS SOCIETY today is SWEDEN. ONLY 2% of ALL transactions are done with cash. In china, it's more than 80%. Mobile payment started in SWEDEN several years before it reached china

I guess China has become the first and only cashless society in the world. By the time other developed countries catch up with this technology, China moves on to the facial recognition technology. In Summer 2017, Alibaba successfully implemented the first payment system "Smile To Pay" through a monitor screen that scans a customer's face at Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) in China. Now there are more and more places that adopt this new facial payment technology.

Thank you! From your KZbin informations. Cashless paying with my phone in WeChat or Alipay when I going visit China on my vacation. Westerner China catching up the east coast of China. I mean using same technology. I am thinking the east coast more developed than the westerner part of China. I didn’t know that. I’m 100% wrong. I was unbelievable, shocked and surprised me! “ WOW”!!!!!! I love you teaching us how to use pay with a phone. In western countries only Apple Pay or Samsung pay on the phone. China ahead of western countries only a free app when you apply. Our country not too many companies using the phone to pay. We have use cash or credit card or ATM machine is not convenient. I have to standing long line. The world have to learn from China! You lucky girl live in China have this advanced technology! Westerner countries media won’t telling us how China so advanced, always saying China is bad and backward country. You’re 100% right!

The active scanners owned by such merchants have higher daily consumption limits. The payment process is more efficient. And each must be filed with the government, so it is relatively safer and the funding process is more detailed.

Actually the idea behind this QR code transaction is very simple and with good intention to minimize the cost for both customer and vendors. For small vendors they don't need to own expensive machines or scanners to make the transaction work. All they need is to print out their transaction QR code. Customers just scan the vendors' code , type in the money to transfer, then everything is done. But for big vendors like supermarkets, department stores, etc since they have already owned the scanners previously to scan membership cards, bar codes, etc. They only need to do minimal upgrades to scan the QR code of the customers', then the transaction is automatically done.

True! Lipstick can be very personal, since it does have different undertones. One same lip color doesnt always mean it will look the same on the other. Especially most people have different undertones. I suggest you watching "Lisa Eldrige", on KZbin. I have been watching her for years. She has thorough guide of lipstick undertones, to better understand which one that suits you best. xoxo

Syifa Adriana Based on my years of shopping experience, I don't recommend you use Taobao. Although I am Chinese, I have to admit that the quality of things on Taobao is uneven. But as long as you are willing to spend money, it certainly will not buy fake, you get what you pay for is a reasonable sentence. In contrast, I suggest you use JingDong and try to buy JingDong-owned(自营) goods, not only quality assurance, but also very fast logistics, after-sales service is also good . Taobao and JingDong are both online shopping sites, but they are two completely different things :Taobao is just an online shopping platform, Taobao does not sell their own things, Taobao is a trading platform provided to the seller and buyers, anyone can open a shop in Taobao, Taobao on the product quality is not guaranteed .By comparison, JingDong is not just a trading platform, JingDong also sells things itself 。JingDong -owned(自营) goods are good quality, and good after-sales service. I'm sorry I don't know how to translate the word 自营. Literal translation is Sell by itself. I hope you can understand, haha 。。。。

LOL yeah, I get that reaction a lot from the Chinese people. It is convinient if I dont understand anything at all. Before using it, I usually try to understand the context of what that person talks about, because I dont want to be so dependent on that since it's too easy. However, I also use it if I dont know how to put together words into a sentence. It's called "youdao".

I have youdao but I didn't know that it had this feature. It's still pretty cool that you know how to respond after hearing the translation.

Hi Sam! Thanks for watching. In major cities like in the southern part of China, you can get by speaking English. But in Northwest, where I lived, it’s impossible to find people who speaks English on daily single basis. Speaking mandarin when you live in China of course will help a lot of small little things

In fact a lot of chinese people use credit cards,especial young people , even they have 2 or more credit cards , and aslo you can link to your credit cards to your Ali Pay or Wechat Pay just like link to your debit card, but sometime when you scan the QR code , it can't be avaiable with your credit card, but sometime you still can pay something with Ali Pay or Wechat Pay link to your credit cards.Eg. when you buy one movie ticket online, you can pay it with credit card or debit card in the Ali Pay or Wechat Pay.

You are wonderful! Seeing is believing: I have learned that without setting up mobile payment apps, rather than cash, you'll find life difficult in China. But isn't that required you to have a Chinese bank account first? What happen if you are only a short term traveler?
@SyifaAdriana
@SyifaAdriana 7 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for watching! Not too difficult, but just not as convinient. Hahaha. True! I only start using my obile payment in the beginning of July after my Chinese bank account was set up. Therefore it will be linked directly to my debit card. Previously, I had Chinese bank account from a regional bank, which doesnt allow me to sign up for wechatpay/alipay. Short term traveler is better advised to use cash to be quite honest.

@SyifaAdriana

Thanks for watching. However, I dont think you can use that as a traveler since alipay/wechat pay requires you to have Chinese bank account so that they are connected directly to your debit card. Yes, it was Halal & Islamic resturant. Plenty of them in Yinchuan and specifically in the Northwest China :)

It is convenient if you actually have a Chinese bank account. Now getting the bank account can be a real nightmare. I've never understood why they couldn't accept my international credit card even at international oriented tourist venues like the Shanghai Disney resort. If you run out of phone battery you're pretty much screwed.
@NormanF62

You have to let your bank know where you’ll be traveling so they won’t block your card. Sometimes they can protect you too well! My bank has transferred block control to its clients so they’re in charge of who they’ll allow to credit/debit their account
