This model has been around for over 10 years. Incredible watch for sure. I saw the same model with a white dial. A rare find indeed.

Late to the party on the decade old watch but fantastic reveiw. Probably the best on youtube. Shame the case depth was missed (10.5mmish), your wrist size wasn't mentioned and the scratch resistant coating was overlooked but an otherwise amazing presentation. Well done.❤

6.5” wrists and thanks for the comment! This watch has legend status in the community but I ended up selling it.

Excellent review and delivery style! Very calm and on point. Keep up the great work. One thing to add - I assume that the bracelet being unable to bend upwards is done on purpose just like with the G-Shocks. It protects the watch in case it falls flat on its back. The bracelet creates the "bridge" that will absorb the shock and the movement won't be affected. I don't know for sure, but because it's Tough Movement I presume they used the G-Shock design principles when they built it.

Thanks for the comment! I never thought about it that way. Although it would be rare to drop the watch on its back. It can still drop on the crystal side and get damaged.,,

Why in the world would you want or ever need the bracelet to articulate upwards???

This would be the perfect watch for me if it had Bluetooth and the case and bracelet were stainless steel (better scratch resistance). The OCW-T200S-1AJF has bluetooth and is stainless steel but the dial and case are not as attractive and it is too large for me. We need Bluetooth in Australia because we have no radio time broadcasts. Not only does bluetooth keep your watch accurate to the second but it also acts as a user interface rather than those kitchy buttons. That would improve the asthetics of the case. So if we are going to make it perfect then also throw away the buttons. I hope the message gets to CASIO. Their website doesn't invite comment. I don't need a watch accurate to the second but I do covet it.

I agree, Casio needs a smaller sized Stainless Steel option in the Oceanus range. I would love it If they made this case about 1mm smaller and removed the button and added Bluetooth in SS with the adjustable clasp.

The titanium case on the Oceanus 100 is treated in a similar way to Citizen's 'duratect', 'super titanium'. This makes it around five times harder than the 95% of stainless steel watces, using industry standard 316L. In most side by side tests these ti carbide coated cases, are about ten times more scratch resistant than their stainless steel counterparts. Of course it will scratch but be under no illusions that stainless steel watches have 'better scratch resistance'. They do not.👍
