@@VinchVideos comic book Strange does not have a small, or even medium, frame. he's built similarly to Batman himself, so much so that he was able to successfully impersonate him with a homemade costume in one of his first appearances. Bautista could totally pull that off if they wanted to do that.

Y’all, Bautista is Hugo Strange, it’s perfect casting, knock at the cabin door was his audition. Keep that eery calm energy, add an unhinged sense of humor and some rage. His build is perfect and he could be charming and fun and then terrifying on a dime. It’s perfect and just different enough to really get people interested, not obvious like Esposito but it would be brilliant

30:07 Representation is definitely important, but I think it's ridiculous that some ppl think that roles should *only* go to ppl who fit the same ethnicity & sexuality as the character. They should *always* prioritise the best actor for the job imo. There are *so* many amazing performances where actors have played a different sexuality to their real life, or characters have been race/ gender swapped. I would hate to think of how many amazing characters we would've missed out on if none of those actors had been allowed to play them.

@@KingUniverso Pratt plays a character who gets lonely on a spaceship and so prematurely awakens a character played by Jennifer Lawrence which means that she will never live to arrive in her destination or see anyone she loves or cares about again since both Pratt and Lawrence's characters will be long dead before it arrives since they are no longer in stasis (or whatever jargon they used). He then lies to her and pretends like he wasn't the one who did this to her and the movie shifts into a rom-com narrative where he eventually owns up to it, they fall in love, and end up happily together. In a different and much more impactful alternative version of the movie, the audience sees this unfold from Lawrence's perspective rather than Pratt's where she awakens confused and is helped and comforted by him until she comes to the terrifying realization that she is now trapped on the ship with the terrifying stalker who awakened her and ended her life as she knew it against her will. Having that play against type with Pratt being the genuine predator that he is in the film could have been really special but it devolves into more standard light romantic fare with a sci-fi sheen.

Hearing the list of Bradley Cooper performances with NO mention of the best film he’s starred in (The Place Beyond The Pines) left me flabbergasted. If you haven’t seen it yet, Nando, then you definitely should! Arguably Ryan Gosling gives the best performance in the film, but Cooper was still spectacular in his role. The movie also features a very solid performance from Dane DeHaan which helped me (nearly) forget his stint as the worst version of the Green Goblin 💁🏻‍♂️

yeah, plastic man is a ridiculously cartoony character that works very well in animation but could be very hard to adapt for live-action, plus he's a bit too op. If you do want to cast based on ethnicity, Linda Park, television report and wife of Wally West (Kid Flash, The Flash) is Korean-American. She isn't a main hero character but she's featured quite a bit in the most recent run of The Flash where Wally West is the Flash again.

If he wanted to cast based on ethnicity, he would. Sadly, he, like most of these casting agencies believe that white characters are replaceable and that they ought to be replaced, while the ethnicities of all other characters must be respected no matter what.

@@johngreenaway1472 Nando is not going out of his way to replace white characters. Yeah he's sometimes more willing to let a white character be played by a non-white actor but only when he really thinks they'd fit the role. Plus frankly there are way way more white characters in fiction as a whole especially comics which is usually why the reverse doesn't happen. But frankly 99% of the time white characters stay white in adaptations. The only reasons it stands out when they do change is because, again, there are less non-white characters in these sorts of things and also weirdos like you have to make such a big deal about it.
