Not quite, I think Nathan's scene in the previous episode (Target) where he tortures a suspect for information matches it for power and all out scariness. It's this double episode that shows us all just how talented Nathan and Stana are though and to be frank if either one of them looked at me the way they look at the suspects I'd be singing like a canary and requesting a change of underwear.

@@MrPeterpiper1969personally I was more terrified of Castle in that previous episode you mentioned. Because this interrogation Beckett did, it’s almost expected of her to be like this, whereas Castle, it’s out of character for him to do that in the eyes of everyone who knows him. Even Beckett in a scene or two after, said to him “I didn’t think you had that side to you” basically meaning that what Castle did is not really something you’d expect from him. It’s one thing to beat the shit out of someone (like he did in season 1 or 2 when he beat the one guys face in) and to all out torture someone.

Love the way Beckett explodes in this scene, I think it’s a sign of all the emotions she was holding back while working this case, because obviously Beckett is worried about Alexis too, but she probably kept her emotions to herself for Castle’s sake, no doubt if Castle has caught any sign of Beckett losing hope of finding Alexis, then Castle would have lost hope too

The interrogation part of this scene is SO cool! It really gives Stana a chance to show that Beckett can be a tough and scary badass cop when she wants to be. The way the other chick's demeanor changes so quickly from tough and arrogant to completely scared and freaked that Beckett is gonna tear her a new one ANY second is what makes this scene so great!
