The Castle Hill Hotel was knocked down by the developers against planning regulations I believe the road was driven in the landlord 🤔

My great aunt and uncle's house had a great view looking up at the castle. Great memories of that view when visiting as a kid.

The Laird's planned town on the top of a waterless hill finally gasps its last around 1350. I wonder what might have pushed it over the edge? 🤔
