I took my cat benny to the vet for his rabies booster. He cried the whole time. When we got home he hid. I found him user the blanket on my bed, mad at me.

No, it wasn't. The only thing that makes anyone think that is the context. You knew he was at the vet, so you think he has an expression of betrayal. He doesn't, though. The only thing giving away anything is the hissing and dilated pupils. His ears weren't even back. Furthermore, the expressions of cats are really simple. Nowhere near the complex nonverbal cues that human beings give. He can't even make an expression of "betrayal".

Everyone is afraid of the doctor and we should know better and doctors aren't giant to us. Cats aren't stupid, small and fragile they can do what they want outside of dealing with cars and dominate most of their natural environment but the key thing is they trust us and allow themselves to be trapped and prodded for reasons they don't understand and then regret it. I'm not surprised it freaks them out, but they're still fierce. They could leave but they like you and your food, so you don't get bit and they stay.

This was how my cat was, when she was angry at me (from a visit to the vet). Even when they're very angry at you, they still deeply love and trust you. Hence, no biting and clawing. Just hisses, but with eye blinkings. Some people mistake this for violent behaviour, and dismiss the cats easily. These cats are very ferocious fighters, but very loyal companions to owners. Just stating. That's how I knew my cat. Still miss her today. She stood by me from birth till death.

Chris Knight Most aren't, and I agree. In fact, sometime I hate cats like that! XD But certain cats are. Like I said earlier, my cat stayed with me from birth until her death. I have had 5 cats at one time. Given them space to roam outside the house. 4 eventually left home. But Basket (her name), stayed and always preferred to stick with me. Not anyone else (even family), just me. I saved her when she was born, and that earned me her deepest trust. As per the video, she also does become angry at me during certain times, but the behavioural patterns are almost alike, which shows their true intentions besides the hate.

Thoroughly Wet I wish I had some magical phone app that could translate cat meows to English because my cat would call stupid , dummy , simple jack , and before bed every night she would probably tell me that she should of went with that fat lady who had picked my cat when she was kitten to take home but for some reason refused to go with the lady when she showed up with her carrier to take her home and I was there to take whatever kitten was left so I let the lady have the tuxedo kitten I was supposed to take and I took home my little calicos princess.
