I still listen to cat Stevens greatest hits. I've been listening to him for 50 years and I absolutely think they are one of the best album compilations ever. I don't care if he's a bit weird or peculiar by our standards here in America. He's done his thing and we do our thing. Live and let live!

I’m sorry, but I have to say it. This man oozed sensuality. He must have had a million women throwing themselves at him constantly. Couple that with his honesty, riveting gaze and you have a masterpiece. Yup, this man is and was a moving masterpiece.

I love this interview, I love when he says .."I have a fantastic voice , I know it, ❤️ I feel an obligation to myself and to people to try and share myself maybe as honestly as I can. I listen to my future more than I do my past my past is what I stand on my future is what I jump at." ❤️ in his twenties he was wise Beyond his years.

Great job Neal. Enjoyed it. i lived downtown for 20 years and love the city. Long form interviews like this give insight into Chicago culture. I'm glad that you, unlike others who have interviewed Cooley, gave proper attention to Bob's adventures with Count Dante. Good luck with the TV show, it'd make a great one!

Cat Stevens lucid, engaging, articulate, questioning. Making a whole lot more sense in his creative former years than he does now, buried in the denial, confusion, and indulgence of a fundamentalist religion. Shows too, it's usually getting there that's meaningful and relevant, not happens after you get there.

Sometimes I find his interviews a bit too simplicistic. He hardly speaks of anecdotes, things that happened in his playground when he was a toddler, things concerning life behind his gigs, even things that happened during the gigs, he even hardly speaks of his music and how it was recorded, I mean technical details... in his interviews he's constantly asked about his choices, his faith, not much the way he built his lyrics but only what he meant through that... so that his interviews become a bit too boring for me and even his English seems so much reduced to simple words I can hardly believe he's a Londoner... Just for this reason, he's been asked about his 'path' thousands of times and he's always said he did what he was called for... always. I think he should let his music speak for himself here and start telling us a bit more about earthly stuff, like any other artist does.

Playing the celebrity rock star? Did you hear him speak? He’s lucid and direct. Human without pretension of celebrities. What you perceive are your own inadequacies when measured with his obvious enlightenment state of being.
