Something to consider with your generator. Look into picking up an additional cap for your generator and do the extended run mod to it. With this you can then hook up a 5-6 gallon boat fuel tank and hook it up to your new cap. Just fill your genny up, screw on the new cap, prime the line from the boat tank to your genny to burp the air out of the line with the bulb that should come with the tank. Now, you can run the genny for days without needing to fill it as often. The boat tank is usually easier to fill as well as you can just fill it when you go into town or with your extra fuel stash. The genny tank will stay full, and as it draws down while running, it syphons fuel from the boat tank.

I would convert it to propane and have it attached to a large tank. Kits are pretty cheap and you don't need to worry about maintaining the fuel.

That soil behind the wood pile was Black Gold. Use that in the garden or sell it to your neighbors. Maybe move the wood and plant some fruit trees there.

I have met three of your neighbours they are great, you are there for each others. I love that, the way it should be certainly is not that way today. I am impressed with you taking such good care of your home. I never make other peoples business mine. I must say it make me feel good when I see people appreciate what they have taken care of it, it means they appreciate what they have. The saying goes it could be here today gone tomorrow. It also means you are happy with life with what you have in life because you are taking care of it. I think with you it’s a labour of love. You appreciate what you have show that appreciation by taking care of it. You don’t waste time complaining like you dread what needs to be done you just get at it get it done. You are every women’s dream because you are so articulate on how you do things, it has to be done right, you are neat, tidy, do a great job. I just came across your videos recently I enjoy them very much. I live on my own burn wood so have a lot of the very same things to do as you do. I live on a mountain out in the country by a lake. I live alone therefore what needs to be done I do it inside, out. I am certainly not complaining I choose my life. I love my life. You choose your life, I think it makes a difference when you make the choice. Thanks for sharing, you’re never boring as you are always up to something.

Thank you for an Honest review on the chores you need to do on your cabin, as for a wood shed, you have lots of trees on your property, , find some trees in a location close to your Cabin, and use some branches to link the trees together so using the trees as the uprights, use a Tarp for waterproof shelter then a layer of branches across for strengthen the roof. you could do several smaller ones so when you cut or down trees, place them under cover in the area you are in, and if ever you pass the area in your truck just throw a few logs and replace your used stash in the shed near your cabin.

For sure you don't need walls. Most of my neighbors just do a tarp over wood pile and that works. Not staked or anything just some weights tinhodk it. I likd the idea of a floor and roof with open walls just for permanence.

I enjoy your channel. Just watching the gutter and snow block series-question-why don't you have something like gutter guard? Would the needles just go through the leaf guard? What about the Japanese system of an open system of dripping down chains and just a board to steer water to the chain? Or do you capture any rainwater? What you have is really nice for your house.
