I belong to two Catholic organizations: The Knights of Columbus and the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

Why is this priest not talking to members of the Knights of Columbus? Many K of C members have joined the Freemasons and thus in mortal sin. This priest should be warning current and prospective K of C members to avoid joining Freemasonry-or to leave such if already in a Lodge.

I do not care if he agrees with me. If he disagrees, then he disagrees with at least 9 popes including the current one and many saints. Sadly, too many priests worry about being like and being “politically correct” that they either reject-or are afraid-to embrace and disseminate the truth.

Do you know if any Popes were Freemasons? Do you expect with the softening of the Church's stance on a few items currently in discussion will include Freemasonry. If it does, how will you deal with the potential reversal of their decision?

No. No popes were Freemasons. They cannot be-nor can ANY Catholics. I do not want to continue this any further. CATHOLICS CANNOT BE MASONS-devout Catholics anyway. NO, the Church’s official stance HAS NOT softened and WILL NOT. I do not want to go back and forth on this anymore. Please accept and respect Church teaching and my obedience to it. Thank you.

​@OldFashionMasonicPodcast there were 2 Pope's in question of being Freemasons. John XXIII and possibly Paul VI. Since joining the Freemasons incurrs latae sentencia excommunication, people who believe that they were in fact Freemasons have declared that they are Anti-Popes and thus illegitimate. Those people are called sedevacantists and hold that there has been no valid Pope since 1948. They're no longer in communion with Rome. So, no. There have been no Pope's that belong to Freemasons and the Church isn't likely to change that anytime soon since it outlawing was done by decree of Pius X. Since members of the P2 have been convicted of trying to crash the Vatican bank in the 70s and possibly assassination John Paul I, it is almost certainly an impossibility.
