So many of us who grew up in the Catholic Church do not know the WHY behind the parts of our faith that are often misunderstood and sometimes attacked. Occasionally, that leads to uninformed Catholics leaving their faith instead of researching answers.
Canadian award-winning recording artist Chris Bray found himself being asked questions he couldn’t answer while ministering in vibrant evangelical churches. This sent him on a fact-finding mission that led to his book, 'Resounding Truth.'

I am 25 years old in all Protestant denomination churches and am open to learning about Catholic teachings, it turns out that Protestant theology in interpreting the Bible is very bad. @@cherylschalk9106 John 14 lays it out very plainly, don't be confused when you are redirected to another deity. That what we find by reading scripture and it does not seem to endorse the power the RCC has placed on Mary. She was blessed for being the Mother of the Saviour Luke 1. The RCC has endeavoured to promote Mary above her New Testament status. Throughout the century. Placing her on equal status with Jesus Christ her saviour Luke :1 46-54 etc.

catholicism isn't Biblically accurate, Sir. and there is nothing in Scripture promoting a teaching about Mary, it's all about our Saviour, Jesus Christ. catholicism has many deceived, unfortunately -- not even following God's Ten Commandments, making excuses for it.

Your comments about Catholics showing a lack of "community" and the Catholic indifference to music are pretty superficial. Regarding music, you seem to be more interested in your own music and your brand. I'm glad that God has especially chosen you to be His messenger to lax Catholics and even other Christians.

I am so very grateful to the Holy Spirit for keeping me in the Church that Jesus Christ established on Peter the rock, way before the new testament was ever written! For goodness sake if one is serious about belief in Jesus, then it is incumbent that one pursue knowledge and embrace spiritual community. The biblical reference to a child putting away childish things and consuming meat rather than milk sets the standard. Really, the main reason Catholics are not cognisant about dogma is pure LAZINESS. We are warned to seek our salvation in fear and trembling. It is a two way situation; salvation in the fullest sense means to hunger after Jesus. The protestant stance of once saved always saved means no effort on our part is required. We can be individual islands in the mass receiving the Eucharist with praise & thanksgiving HOWEVER there are two commandments that Jesus said are essential. To love God, and to love neighbour. So we are required to put effort in and demonstrate with action LOVE for God AND LOVE for neighbour.

you wrote, of 2 essential commandments, loving God and our neighbor -- interestingly, 1 John 5:3 also shows us that keeping His Ten IS showing love to God (1-4) and love to the neighbor (5-10). sadly, catholicism doesn't keep Them. thus proving that this system does not love either God nor neighbor.

@tony1685 If you look for fault, you will find it! Of course, ALL humanity is fallen. Your reply speaks loudly of judgement & prejudice. Personally, as a Catholic, I have encountered amazing people of all religious denominations demonstrating loving kindness. Six years of theological study with an Anglican university did not destroy my belief in goodness. God seeks to touch ALL hearts. Dispense the hateful attitude and realise that LOVE is the ultimate weapon. Jesus demonstrated His love in spite of hate. It's a big ask, a difficult path, but worth the effort. Peace be with you 🕊

@@fddooley1 you have a lot of Truth in your post, friend -- but as Christians, when one speaks contrary God's Word -- Eph 5:11 we are to expose it. catholicism is antichrist -- just look at the thorough descriptions given in the Bible. there are Christians in that denomination, but we'd do well to identify the beasts of Revelation 13 and the harlot of Rev 17. hope you're well, Sir! thanks for posting.

The History of the RCC can't be ignored. Six years of religious study would show that. Men like John Fox,and William Tyndale show us the character of the RCC and why these men evidence is important in our evaluation. Of why that evidence cant be ignored. If we ae pursue TRUTH then we look to Jesus Christ. Paul point out that Jesus can be misrepresented in 2 Corinthians 11:4 by portraying him in a different form to one that is preach in the scripture. John Fox evidence can be found in "The Gutenberg martyrs". Which is an abridge account of the history. The RCC church efforts to prevent the Bible from getting into the hands of normal folks was William Tyndale great commission.He demise was orchestrated at the hands of the RCC, he was judge as a Heretic for his work. Is this loving your neighbour or should I just ignore that as I search for The WAY, The TRUTH,and the LIFE. John14:6

The RCC History and its atrocity is why there are more questions than answers. Reading The Gutenberg Martyrs has irrefutable evidence of the atrocity.

@whathappening5323. 1. The full deposit of Truth as revealed by Jesus is in the Catholic Church. If you had a lousy Math teacher that made you hate Math, does it detract 1+1=2 as the Mathematical truth ? If you doctor told you not to smoke because you could get cancer from it, would be ignore the advice if the doc is a heavy smoker ? 2. Protestants are guilty of similar atrocities. Independent history books will attest to this.

The difference between a the Catholic faith and the Protestant faith is that if the Catholic faith is lived right it will take you to heaven if the Protestant faith is lived it will take you to hell I purposefully did not use the word right with the Protestant faith because there is no right with the Protestant faith. ProtestantISM is counterfeit Christianity.

@huntleyleadership Sorry, but truth matters. Or can people choose the texts of the bible that appeals to them, and the rest is irrelevant, or is all of the bible relevant. A true Catholic does believe it, but with regards to treating people in a particular way, then please explain, because again truth matters or doesn't it???
