Any updates on this product? How has it held up? Which one would be your recommendation looking back?

Hi Catus , I've Had That Dewalt Myself for A While Now. Decent Tool . That PT 3/8" to 1/4" Adapter looks Solid . I'll be On the Lookout For That .

Perfect timing, looking for this type of adapter for my dewalt 3/8 impact

The pull collar though inconvenient, is better than the target pushing it behind and the bit falling off. I have this adapter just for that reason. Used some gear lube the day I bought it to avoid future rust in between the collar and the body. Great product BTW.

The PT seems to be good for the price well worth having in my 3/8” drive impact drawer.

What bit is that at 4:06 please? I've been looking for inch long double-ended bits and that one has proper notches too.

I can only afford one tool right now and I want something that I can use for automotive work but also general DIY and basic home repair. Would you recommend I use an impact wrench with this adapter, or an impact driver with a socket adapter??

This adapter can be used on all, great little adapter

I have been looking for this. I have that same dewalt impact wrench. No need to buy the impact driver. I like the dewalt much more compact and has a nice light over my milwaukee or ryobi.

Good vid!! Glad I found this. Cheaper then the Mw and has a lifetime warranty with O'Riellys. Just bought the Ridgid Subcompact 3/8 and need an adapter.

Like Milwaukee 3/8 hex, very sturdy, but it wobbles like heck on the anvil. Wasn't expecting this 🙄🤔

Hey Catus, I’m glad you’re mentioning 3/8 air tool torque ratings. I think they’re taking lower powered mechanisms from larger drive sizes and putting them in smaller ones. Thoughts?

I bought the Erwin magnetic one. But then bought a Impact driver last week.

I also have the magnetic Irwin bit holder. It’s pretty robust for what it is and I feel like it’ll hold up on an impact driver in the long run, but I worry about the force applied to the magnet behind the bit causing the magnet to shatter. Perhaps most fastener connection points will fail first. I’ve put mine through it’s paces with metric Allen bits and torx bits on a hand driven ratchet and it has performed well.

@@jermlac It def has it's purpose. But I wanted the drill bit so I could keep it as straight as possible. With the Hog Ring and prob the anvil pins. You don't get a fully straight application. But that's what this is for. In emergencies when needed.
