I've seen some pressers with other teams actually have the questions come up on the screen. That would work.. or a boom mic for the reporters. Problem solved.

I know Hughes and company have a "plan" which they all seem to be willing to live and die by...however my HUGE concern is this "plan" should not just include player changes, but a serious assessment of the inexperienced coaching staff behind the bench. I am all for stability and patience but this team has in my eyes, regressed, especially this season with basically the same roster as last season (I think moving Kovacevic in the off-season was a Hughes miss-step). Individual player progression is great to see, but has the Habs progressed as a team? Questionable! MSL is definitely a great hockey mind who has HHOF NHL on ice and off ice experience to offer this young rebuilding group BUT, his obvious lack of head coaching experience IMO, is the biggest detriment and now stalling this rebuilding "plan". The young players Hughes has brought in through substantial trades...Barron, Newhook, Dach are all struggling under MSL's tutelage, which is one of many red flags I have with MSL as head coach. The continued defensive system blunders, the increased rather than decreased number of games that quickly get out of hand quickly without any pushback or significant response, the lack of offensive progression from this "young core" since MSL took over, MSL's questionable line up combos, and my biggest red flag...watching MSL's increasing defeated reactions behind the bench. My fear is this will be yet another wasted season with little to no team progression...but potentially predict, if next season does not start off favourably, the Habs will make a head coaching change.
