For anyone else wondering what happened to the officer in the second clip, his name is Christopher Lester and he works for the Indian River County Sheriffs Office. He survived being shot in the leg by Andrew Coffee Jr. Mr. Coffee also survived being shot by Deputy Lester and was subsequently convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment.

My grand mom called us one morning to tell us she saw a man peeking in her window the night before, and then said, “I scared him off with Dad’s shotgun.” We rushed over to check outside to find the one of neighboring farm’s cows dead in the backyard. She never mentioned shooting, and only told us as if was just an afterthought. That shotgun hung on the wall for my entire life, I never knew it was even loaded. I asked her about hanging up a loaded gun on the wall and she said, “an unloaded gun is just a stick.” She was a tough ol gal, RIP granny.

Good for granny. I was able to find this. UPDATE: Indian River County Sheriff's Deputy Christopher Lester was released from the hospital Friday evening. Investigators say Lester was shot Friday morning by Andrew Coffee. The incident happened during a traffic stop. Investigators say Coffee was pulled over because he had no tag on his scooter. "I was a little hurt because that is not the person I knew," Wanda Scott said. Scott was Coffee's boss at a convenience store in Gifford. "He may have been having a good time leading up to this and he may have been intoxicated when it happened," Scott said. Sheriff Deryl Loar says coffee tried to kill the 26 year old deputy after he pulled Coffee over. The deputy was shot in the leg. "As he knocked the deputy down and sucker punched, he continued to stand over him and attempted to end his life," Loar said. Coffee is no stranger to the law. He was released from prison last May for an attempted murder conviction from back in 1993. "It reminds us of the dangers that are faced everyday in law enforcement. It is a war on the streets and I'm sick of it," Loar said. It's unclear how Coffee, a convicted felon, was able to obtain the gun. Coffee remains hospitalized with wounds to the torso and leg.

@retroguy9494 Жыл бұрын
@@Runatta I agree with you about dogs being more helpful. In MY experience, even cats have been more helpful to me than most humans I have known. But your dog will do whatever is needed to protect you because you have a bond together. You love each other. Animals feel that love from human's who love them. So, naturally, he will defend and protect anyone who tries to do harm to you. However, this is different. These dogs are deliberately trained to violently attack people who haven't done anything to anyone. They are basically used as an attack weapon instead of their natural instincts of defending someone when that person is attacked. In other words, they are trained to go AGAINST their natural instincts. Take the one clip in this video. A man runs away. The cops sick the dog on him to attack him, which the dog does. The man panics and his biological 'fight or flight' response kicks in, he panics and starts biting the dogs ear in self defense. This is a perfectly normal reaction. However, the cop in turn reacts by getting angry and starts punching the suspect because he's biting the dog. The cop is acting like the man is in full control of his faculties and is applying thought and reason to his decision to bite the dog. Which is wrong because the man's biological instincts took over. I don't care what anyone says; this is wrong. The suspect gets hurt, the poor dog gets hurt and the cops further hurts the suspect. All of which could have been avoided if the cops just chased the man down and tackled him or tazed him.

If there is any law enforcement watching this video I have a question, maybe two. When someone is being bitten by a K9 or tasered I'm curious how the suspect is suppose to comply. When you taser someone their entire body tenses up resulting with all of your extremities stiffening momentarily. Better yet, getting bitten by a dog....It is human nature to protect yourself from harm. It's an automatic reflex. If I was getting bit by a dog I'm going to do everything possible to get that dog off me. But, this guy was being bitten and tased at the same time while these officers were instructing him to put his hands behind his back. It is an unrealistic order.

What happened to the 2nd vid of the cop did he survive
@Xenon777channel Жыл бұрын
@David O Connor - 3:25 ? Another commenter has written: " Officer Lester was shot in the leg but was okay. [Andrew] Coffee got shot twice but survived. Coffee was sentenced to life in prison. ". It's good that they survived, and also the 2nd Amendment is not the problem. The U.S. is still superior to other nations such as England & Australia Etc. which have very domesticized citizens, like house-cats. While the U.S. is the English speaking nation of wildcats, so strict background checks should be in place if someone seeks a permit to buy weapons, right? And the 2nd Amendment was written so citizens can stockpile weapons to keep the government away, like " citizen power, not government power ", so actually all the firearms, grenades, uzis, rockets Etc. can just be kept in warehouses / safes / cellars? Is it wrong? Even outside America, the European & English-speaking nations are all watching American TV & American youtube, like more than 50%, and more than 90% with many of us..., so if we're all admiring USA so much, should they 'copy' the pro-government & anti-citizen nations? Worldwide, we seem to be admiring USA & Monaco, which are the most anti-government & anti-tax English speaking & European nations, respectively. So like hopefully USA can fix the wildcat situation in a harmonious & natural way, like 'natural cooperations'. Not: " Force 75% tax & GST & many other taxes. Force all pointy objects to be confiscated. Force CCTV everywhere. Force custodianship. "... as that's horror. Like I'm watching this channel and still considering moving to USA or Japan. All these crimes don't scare me, and the people have the 'best personality'. ... And am I considering moving to Brussels? No? To do what? Pay taxes and support domesticization, presstitutes, guilt culture and 5% refugee 95% immigration? [instead of 95% refugee which is humanism] ..Etc. ? Like I support humanism, and think North European nations (where I'm from) can import refugees, so then paying taxes is 'ok', as it's care... However they're importing millions of middle-class peace situation people from like Iran, instead of refugees, so the politics isn't care. We can't understand the governments in Northern Europe, and seek to 'revamp' the governments to improve humanism, improve citizen power, and also shut the door to fatcats which think it's all 'a game' and don't care about culture or ethnic group. Just 'a chessboard'. Like " time to move Iran to Switzerland " ** moves chess piece **. So like being a cop in USA looks really dangerous, which it isn't in i.e. Holland or Finland, however they have a different history. Nonetheless, government people in Holland & Finland seek to make it 100% the same as USA, which will just ruin everything.. And Criminology students can't 'vote' like they're only 0.01% so their expertise is like nothing.

@@dorisnoel7815Can be a global issue! And bullies don't just get jobs as cops, but bully in many other fields as well! Have known many great cops, & only a handful or less of bullies with a badge! Had 1 being a real jersey when I was a kid on the streets. But as soon as he saw I wasn't trying to get into trouble, & was fully respectful his whole demeanor changed & he watched out for me! And if I gave him an eye in a direction, he knew something was up there for him to check out! Our communities, when we work as a team do very well keeping our streets safe!❤

Police need a special camera option on their company phone to be able to see where suspects are hiding when they're in relation to a helicopter camera. I think that would help them greatly. Although, I must say, these officers had it on point 👐
@Xenon777channel Жыл бұрын
@Hannah Mattox - Nah, it's better to have a single-lens pair of cyber-glasses which displays the helicopter or drone infrared in realtime, so the left eye can see the aerial view of where people are hiding.
@kujju18 Жыл бұрын
@@Xenon777channel I mean cool concept like google glasses that already exist but police departments would have a hard time actually affording those kinds of things as a whole. I think the ops idea is great. Maybe like an app on their phones that is linked would be a much cheaper and better option on top of radio communications that already occurs.

Imagine thinking that you even should run with men with guns and dogs chasing after you. I would hope if I were ever a career criminal that I would only be "on the run" with nobody chasing me. And then I would just be like, "Yeah you caught me, good job," as I lay down in full compliance with my pursuers if they ever found me.

I disagree with training dogs to do this kind of work. Attacking people like that. You saw how that one guy was biting the dogs ear. Some people panic when being attacked by animals. Especially when being surrounded by cops. Dogs by nature are loving and caring companions who HELP people. Its wrong to train them to hurt and attack people instead. The cops should do their OWN legwork. That's what they get paid to do.
