My childhood friend passed away 4 years ago at age 20, besides our close knit friend group, his family, and the Fire Department he was a volunteer at, so many people that we went to high school with came to the wake and funeral and all I could hear from them were bs sympathy baiting, like these were the same people who talked so much crap behind his back then show up to his funeral like they were his best friends. On top of the that, his girlfriend who unfortunately had to go through this started getting hit on by these classmates at the funeral. People are f****d up.

i just gotta know why they felt the need to take her to the hospital, and then leave her there. Not their fault about what happened but this probably never would've happened if they were patient and truly caring enough to wait for "their friend"
@rivap.47914 ай бұрын
They were kind enough to bring her to the hospital. Not waiting doesn’t mean impatient or didn’t care enough. So many of us just drop someone off and think nothing more of it. They weren’t her parents or partner. Perhaps they had something else to do… the fact that they brought her there and even waited with her a while is beyond what should be expected of them.
@Beatyofeet324 ай бұрын
@@rivap.4791 I appreciate this perspective. So many are pointing fingers at the people that took her to the hospital, but that kind of behavior discourages people from helping in any capacity. Had those people turned a blind eye to her crisis, or refused to help her, they would have been spared these comments. Instead, they're catching heat for actually trying to do something to help because people think they didn't do enough or didn't do it correctly. It's backwards, when you think about it. It's difficult to blame people that never help anyone and never want to "get involved" when the reality is that helping just exposes you to this kind of criticism. If we actually want people to help others, we need to stop assigning blame to them when the help isn't optimal. Especially when responsibility for the outcome ( in this case, her death ) is solely the fault of someone else.

If the body count is accurate, this monster doesn't reach the number required to even be classified as a "serial killer." Like everything else in his sad, path*tic life, he's (once again) short of reaching any kind of recognition for anything he's ever done / accomplished all on his own, smh. And it was only because of his utter usel*ssn*ss that helped make it possibly worthy of this short documentary.

People are more agitated by the mispronunciation of the word Oshawa more than they are by the fact that two teen girls were murdered and dismembered. Talk about a desensitized society. SMH

I tried to report a missing person to DRPS two weeks ago that I saw being lead up the street forcefully by a man. Even though she is currently the second post on their own website they showed little interest, and even told me they couldn't find the file. DRPS needs to do better.
