When I was younger I went to school in South Carolina. We had a field trip to the Yorktown. We stayed the night a slept in the bunks like the sailors did. The spirits never messed with us. They are American Sailors. I honestly felt safe there. They protect us in life and death. Edit: This must have happened 20 years ago.

Yikes! Even before, when I didnt really believe ghosts were likely to exist, I would have found it just too creepy to live or work in such a place as a funeral parlor.. Even the thought of living or even working in a place where one is reminded on a daily, even constant basis, of their mortality, is enough to stir up an incredibly discomfiting feeling inside me, & even to have the feeling begin to wind up until it wants to almost spin out of control... I guess you have mastered your thoughts & mind better than I, & probably better than most folks have. Then, to add on to that, you must have the mental fortitude to stay sane, despite the ever-present, virtual certainty that spirits, which i now have come to understand do very much indeed exist, are quite likely to almost constantly be drawn to this place where you live &/or work..well, I salute your strength in being able to handle that.. That is, assuming you haven't mentally snapped, & you're not secretly killing folks in the basement, nor humping on the corpses, or any other such gruesomeness, that is?

CaptainsDen thought I'd let you know, my stepdad never heard or saw anything either when we lived in a haunted house. My Mom, my brother, my boyfriend and I saw and heard all kinds of weird stuff. There was a family that would have dinner, you could hear them chatting, chairs scooting, silverware and glasses tinkling at 2 or 3 am. If we said hello? Who's that? The noises would abruptly halt. A young lady would cry and run up and down the stairs. An old man with a long beard and flannel shirt was in the window watching my boyfriend and I pull up. I thought it was one of my stepdad's biker pals but we searched and no one was there. A week later Mom saw the same guy, he smiled and vanished. I could tell more but it would take too long. Not everyone sees, hears, or feels spirits. I've noticed these abilities tend to run in families. I'd like to know why my family can sense the dead. Who knows?

@LionHeart17774 жыл бұрын
It is written that they will be on earth causing trouble even after the flood, which killed their first "bodies". Now they are called evil spirits or demons who wander around trying to possess, trick and harm us. If you study ancient history you see those beings were real back then, that is why they dwell in places like this warship, because they are behind all of those activities, they are the origins of violence, who start killing on earth and they still do it to this day. Jesus said that we have to test the spirits by his name.. have those guys done it? probably not.

@HIGHWAYATMIDNIGHT4 жыл бұрын
Not all spirits are evil, that is a fact. Compare them with humans because many of them were once human but, some certainly are not. There are demons though, non human ancient creatures that come from the devil. Some were fallen angels cast from heaven, others were conjured by the energies of malevolent humans with evil intent... There also are angels that are very real, who come to humans at their times of death or when people are in perilous situations. I always questioned these things for years but, 5 years ago I suffered a demonic attack. A real, true to life attack where I was powerless to fight this thing off of my own accord. The only solution was praying to God. At that moment, the most beautiful translucent light came down and saved me from that creature. I will never again deny the existence of God or the power of prayer. Nor will I deny the existence of human spirits, demons or other entities I have not yet encountered. Seeing is believing for many but, there are certainly things of a paranormal nature that occur daily all around us that we do not see. I hope one day down the road, you can one day come to the conclusion that the Jehovah Witness belief that all spirits are demons is entirely false.

I served on the USS Forrestal for 10 months, 4 years after the fire in June of 67. My berthing compartment was in the aft section of the ship below location of the fire. Sailors died as burning JP5 flooded in from holes blown into the overhead in the compartment. 134 men died, 161 injured. I don’t know how many lost their lives in that compartment. You could feel a presence, hear soft muffled voices, locker doors being closed, lights coming on with no one there. At first it was a bit spooky but I got use to it.

Did any of the ghosts say "CURSE YOU, JOHN MCCAIN!! you CARELESS NITWIT!!" ? [of course, these days, everyone, including the Wikipedia entry, claims that the fire was due to a faulty Zuni rocket, and the Forrestal wiki entry also makes no mention of any wrongdoing by John McCain. I have always wondered if War Hero John McCain was somehow intentionally shot down, afterwards.]
@albesunim56034 жыл бұрын
No mention. If you don’t trust Wikipedia then google USS Forrestal official report. Read : Navy.mill>jag>investigations. McCain had nothing to do with it. View the footage of the flight deck prior to the fire as recorded for flight operations. There is no sign of any wet starting, if that’s is what you are referring to.

I've been aboard the Yorktown twice, once when I lived I Conway, South Carolina. On one visit, we was on the hanger deck, more toward the aft part of the area looking forward, and I saw a sailor, wearing an old duty uniform, walk from behind one of planes at the far end, from the port side toward the starboard side turn and go down the passage way, but the thing is when he turned the corner, another couple was walking out of that passage way, they appeared to have bumped into each other, but the couple made no movement like to look at the sailor as to say Excuse me and neither did the sailor. It would have been a hard of enough hit to knock someone out of step, but neither lost stride. On the other visit we were as far below decks as you're allowed to go and further below, I heard two men carrying on a conversation and what sounded like tools being used on a part of the ship, but I dismissed it as someone alive today working on the it. So yes, there are sailors spirits still aboard the Yorktown, still doing their work aboard ship.

5:42 "you're square" think of the english expression. Now how can you get multiples of 2 in those numbers? Can you obtain : (2*2) _(2*2*2)_2? In the last line of digits and letters below, B is the second letter of the alphabet and A is the first so you get: 2_(2*2)_(1+1). That make the first line contain 6 times 2 and the last one 4 times. Look at this first line: 4+8=12 and 8+2=10 if you add those digits you get 22. Last line 2+4+2=8. That sums to 30. We have an isolated odd number, 3. At last, if you treat those signs as if they were minuses, you get 4-8-2 (always ignore the zero): -6 and on the last line you get:2-4+1+1= 0 you have 6 everywhere if you consider the initial "2" found by groups of 3. You have written without knowing it what you call "the number of the beast"

He's wearing someone else's face on his chest, on the left, under his heart, and this face is looking up to his face. It's as if that second face was giving the first man you see a strange beard. The man you circled seems to be responsible of something happening to the one he wears on his chest...

Hah! I had a full conversation with a spirit on the uss Missouri. Followed me to the haunted hanger and talked some more. Also an fyi, the hat is mentioned is a flat hat, which means it was a sailor wearing dress blues.

I was stationed on board USS Tarawa (LHA-1) and me and my Disbursing Officer experienced this kind of unusual activity inside our office while the ship was on pier side at 32nd street Naval Station. Me and my Disbo (we both on duty that night) were discussing about his financial reports that evening when one of the chairs inside the office move about 2 feet. We both knew what happened but did not discussed it. scary moment.

The Yorktown that is berthed in Mt. Pleasant, Patriots Point, SC is CVA-10 a WW II Essex Class carrier. This ship was commissioned in 1943 as the replacement for the carrier Yorktown CV-5 that was sunk by the U.S Navy after the battle of Midway in 1942. CV-5 was sunk by our Navy because her battle damage was so extensive that she could not be safely towed back to Pearl Harbor and she refused to sink without help. The Yorktown in 1943 was designated as CV-10 and served in the Pacific theater of War and was in more than it's fair share of the war. In the early 1950's the Yorktown was updated so she could launch and land jets. Her flight deck had the angle deck added along with her catapult system. The Yorktown received a new designation after this refit as CVA-10 where the A indicates she is an attack carrier. She served our Navy from 1943 to 1970!
