Great session mate. I remember the rock pool behind you as a kid, and there was once a big harlequin fish living in it. I haven't been able to find it again after many years interstate, so it was nice to see it again. Keep the videos coming, they're great!

Yeah it's a lovely rick pool... very popular in summer no doubt. There were some small fish in there. I didn't realise we got Harlequins in SA.... good to know!

Yeah it was a challenge physically for sure! But so worth it. Winter is good time too. Accommodation is cheaper and less people around. But anytime is good if your fishing!

We used to climb back up to the carpark at Locks Well with 3 - 4..... 2kilo+ Salmon rope strung through the gills, before the stairs were built...I bet you had a hard time going back up ..I know you did..:).....the best thing to do is to take a minute break every 15 metres going up....

Great session Matt, in my opinion the Yorkes is the place to be. I live at Pt Moorowie and just love the fishing there. If you need a place to stay let me know just bring a swag because y place is only 1 bedroom .

Great video, your partner sounds like my wife, slight tip for fishing spits like that, get yourself a back pack with side straps, strap rods to back pack keeping hands free get yourself a trekking pole makes waking over ruough ground a little easier and hands free to brace yourself if you fall, tgat spot looks very fishy for squid and possibly a good land snapper spot when they open again
