So heartfelt. 7 people who are so different, share a common thread. What a great way to showcase an honest reflection of diversity and the human condition. Congrats to everyone involved. Great CBC Short Doc. (And because I know Marcy - Awesome job!!)

Absolutely beautiful. The use of the PD to showcase the changing in time periods, old school TVs to iphone. The sets were beautiful. The stories and subjects were engaging and honest and loveable. This was expertly directed and designed. The end sequence was such a beautiful way to close and celebrated queerness... creating an intimate moment of power for each character... 10/10 !!!!

It's so heartwarming to see how we see the progression through each generation. We're not perfect, not yet, but I'm happy to see newer generations feeling comfortable in who they are

I'm an Aussie and Prom (we call it Formal) has only been a "Thing" here for probably a decade. Glad I missed all the stress and drama that goes with it. Great doco and much love to all participants.

So happy to at least see society moving in the right direction.... it’s taken a long time and we’ve certainly come a long way, but there’s still a ways to go as well!

Wow... that was a nice old lady with the coffees, finding a few bums asleep in a car on her lawn...! xD A friend of mine once woke up on a stranger's couch one morning. He was headed for his gf's house, and I guess in his altered state, all the houses looked alike, and he entered the wrong house...! He was lucky the owners didn't wake up or call the cops, imagine waking up to a strange dude you don't know sleeping on your couch...! lol

Man, prom is in less than two weeks and I won’t have any guy to take. It sucks knowing I won’t have one of the most memorable nights of my life like these people.

You are not alone. Later in life you will realize this is an event that is scripted for an "in" crowd. Your beauty, talent, skills, mind and spirit are unique. One day I hope you will celebrate that. G-d bless.

I can 100% assure you that “prom” will not be the most memorable night of your life... even if u were taking your dream date... just you wait... ;-)

I skipped prom - only one of my year who did. Near the beginning of the year, with everyone going crazy over organising, I just went, "You know what? Strike me off all lists, I don't care." I took midnight tombola shift to help out the other class, but that was it. For my finals, I wore clothes I borrowed from the neighbours' boy, 5 years my junior, and for prom/yearbook pictures I got dressed up as "The Kaiser", pretty much.
