That young lad isn't a very good actor ha. I work with watches everyday. Most fakes can be sussed out by just picking them up and moving your wrist with the watch in hand. If it makes a whirring sound, its moody (Rolex only. Anything that has an ETA movement or a derivative of will also make a whirring noise - Like Breitling, Tag, Tudor etc). What you are hearing is the counter balance /rotor. It's virtually silent on a Rolex). If you are dealing with a so called super clone, there is also another huge tell on the balance if you take the back off. Rolex cannot be perfectly copied yet ..... YET! Super clone fakes can be very very good, but only from the outside. The biggest problem you'll see these days is Franken watches. Fake parts can be put into a ''real'' Rolex. These parts can be internal and are tiny. This is where you need an expert.
