Most churches remain churches but the Church of England does not evangelise. No Gospel of Good News. They don't bother. So their churches mostly have just a few old people. Evangelicals and Pentecostals are growing and thriving. Conservative people vary from one general election to the next. Hope this helps.

This is horrible.He was praying silently for his son.And the police approached him. He happened to be by an abortion clinic. There was no reason for police to do this. A while. Back a group of us prayed in front of an abortion clinic .Beiing against abortion. We were told by the owner not to pray there so we moved across the street . The police were not involved. The correct answer, when a cop asks whether or what you are praying about, is to inform the cop that the law does not have jurisdiction over your private thoughts and that their interrogation constitutes authoritarian overreach. Having said that, I have complete empathy for this man and any persecuted in this way.
